Teeth Whitening Gel - 36% or 44% Carbamide Peroxide (44%)

I don't think it makes my teeth sparkling white like they were airbrushed, but they are white and stay that way. I use it every morning in the shower and have it in for about 20 minutes tops. I think it keep them as white as possible and keeps new stains away. I have been using the 36% but just ordered the 44% so I will see how that works. Seems like it should be better, right?! ---- So I am updating my review. I LOVE the 36% stuff, but NOT the 44% stuff. OUCH!! This bleached my gums!! I put a little in the mouth tray and next thing I know, my gums above my front 2 teeth start burning. I take out the mouth tray and my gums are white!! YIKES!! Not good at all. They returned to normal after a shower. I will certainly stick with the 36% stuff, but NEVER buy the 44% stuff again. Not worth it. Too much pain, and I am nervous that one of these times my gums won't return to their normal pinkish hue. If you are interested in this stuff, stick with the 36%!!

The product itself works great...as I have used it before and would buy it again, albeit by a different vendor. The problem with this particular order is that the picture of the product shows a syringe filled with no black rubber stopper at the end of it. However when it arrived it had one. This is an issue because the carbamide gel is so potent it eventually starts to dissolve that rubber stopper and some of it mixes with the gel that is in the end of the tube. Therefore you have to through it out before the product is gone. I am sharing this one with someone else so hopefully we can use all of it before that happens this time. Photos of your product should represent what you are actually buying. It's frustrating when you find that you are only able to use a portion of the product.

It doesn't work on me as well as it would on other folks. I have yellow/grey teeth. It did improve them enough that I am no longer considering veneers.

Always happy with this product. When applied properly it leaves my teeth pure white and gleaming. Try not to let it touch any of the gum area as it is very strong and will burn it.
