I bought this as a replacement for an older 55L Ogio bag, this bag could fit about half of what I put in my old one. The bag itself is very small and constricted by all the other parts. It fit a sleeping bag, one outdoor blanket, and a few toiletries before I ran out of space in the main pocket.

At first I really loved this pack but there were two major issues that ultimately come down to the design of the bag. I must say I'm quite disappointed because it wasn't until I took this bag on a longer trip that I noticed anything, and by then it was too late. There was no stopping the damage that was about to torment my body. I was on a 3 day trip, which I'd done with this bag before, but this particular trip I was doing a lot more miles per day than before. At the end of day one, we had done about 12-ish miles over 3 consecutive summits at around 4000 ft elevation gain to the highest summit... Nothing crazy by any means but the farthest and highest in one day for me so far with this particular pack. The first flaw in this pack was now apparent and it was in the design of the size adjustment clip between the shoulder straps for torso length customization. Holy cow... The clip was digging into my spine so hard that it almost broke the skin and left a huge bruise. (Image of the clip in question supplied.) The remaining two days I tried to cushion the impact point but there wasn't much I could do to rid myself of the constant irritation whenever the pack was on. Eventually I settled for a bandana wrapped around the clip but it was a tight fit and it didn't do much to cushion it, honestly. The second flaw was in the outer most pocket on the exterior of the pack. It looks great on the pack and adds to the aesthetic design for sure but don't expect it to give much functionality. The stretchy mesh part around it is easily damaged. Virtually useless for the things that you would typically want to store in a quick grab pocket like that, not to mention the way it's shaped tends to force things upward and out of the pocket slowly as you walk, like a squeeze tube of toothpaste slowly leaking. With no clipping mechanism to hold the pocket shut, or even a form of cinch strap or elastic to hold the opening closed, you'd have to constantly wonder if you were going to lose anything from the pocket. With both of these design ideas, it looks good on paper but once you actually get it out on the trail... They were huge annoyances to say the least. If you're doing a shorter hike distance and need a lot of stuff, this is great. Once you start adding more and more miles to the hikes, I would say try to find something a little more comfortable.
