This car seat is the best seat out there in my opinion
This car seat is the best seat out there in my opinion. I have spent many hours researching car seats for my children. I work in law enforcement and their father is in EMS so unfortunately, we are exposed to how tragic traffic collisions can become without the proper child restraints. I am hoping to become certified in the next few weeks as a CPST. With my research, I discovered that the key is a proper installation and because of this, I decided that I would buy a separate seat for each of my 2 children in each of the cars we routinely drive as well as their grandparent's vehicle. For my son who is 3.5 years old, I have owned several seats ranging from a basic Cosco front facing seat to Graco convertibles to Britax convertibles. My daughter is 7 months old and recently began to outgrow her Peg Perego infant seat. I decided to begin transitioning her to this seat in my primary vehicle and plan to purchase a couple more convertible car seats for the other vehicles over the next couple of months. I could not be happier. She is in the middle seat of my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder so I had to use a seat belt installation instead of LATCH. This made me super nervous as I was concerned about getting a secure seatbelt install, but the click tight technology has been very user friendly. She seems to be very content in the seat and a good fit. I'm not sure if budget will allow us to purchase multiple of this particular model of Britax, but I do think it was worth every penny in our primary vehicle and will be researching other similar seats thoroughly for the other seats she needs.

After figuring it all out, I'm in love!
Not sure how to rate this yet. I want to love it because I loved my b-safe 35 carseat and I felt that my daughter was safer than she would be in any other infant seat. She is over a year old now and getting too tall so I searched for hours for the best of the best car seat available and I thought this was it. I'm not well off (money-wise) by any means, but in order for my daughter to be safe, I'll spend any amount I need to, so spending $400 for this seat was fine. However, I just got it today and my mom and I spent over an hour outside in both of our vehicles trying to figure it out. The arb is pretty ridiculous because it doesn't click in and if you bump it by moving to another vehicle, it can fall right off. But if it works to keep her safer in the event of a crash, I can deal with putting it back on. The clicktight that everyone goes on and on about how easy it is, is not so easy, at least for the seat I received. Several times, I couldn't get the button to turn at all and felt like it would break off but after trying and trying, I finally got it turned. The recline lever had gotten stuck a few times but I found that when I slightly pulled up, then back down, it worked fine. Also the seatbelt is kind of hard to stick through the slots to buckle the seat in but it could be that it's so new and tight, because the more I did it, the easier it was. All in all, I still feel that it's the safest seat for my angel, but for the amount I paid, I'd expect these things to not be a problem at all. Will update after some use..Update: several days later, I've got all the tips and tricks figured out and I'm in love with it! The only problem I have is when I'm buckling the seat into different vehicles, the bottom of the seat that you open likes to fall down while I'm threading the belt through but I can deal with that. All that matters is my baby is safe & comfy! 😊

Tight fit but great seat
We have a 2016 Toyota Corolla and it is a very tight fit in the middle back seat. It does push up against the back of the front seats a bit. My daughter doesn't fuss when in the seat and it seems to be quite comfortable for her. I haven't (thankfully!) been in an accident with it so I can't attest to the safety of it but it is very sturdy and well made and I feel very confident in its ability to keep my baby safe. I haven't had the issue with the anti rebound bar being loose. It fits veey snuggly and is sturdy in the seat.

I'd like to buy all parents this seat.
Already fans of Britax, we were super excited to get our mitts on this seat! Why? It keeps us from having to bubble wrap and helmet our kid. The safety features on this seat are amazing, and really should be talked about with every parent in the market for one. Perfect from birth to small kid, this replaces the need for the bucket and a booster. Because honestly, we probably used the baby bucket with the stroller a handful of times with each kid. And while yes, sleeping kids are the BEST after a long day, I don't mind staying in the car with my sleeping toddler in this seat - I can binge watch so much at the same time -, because that was really the only benefit the bucket had that this doesn't. We'll survive. Add this to everyone's baby registry, folks, it's a game changer. Also, super easy to install in the event you have to switch cars to your partner's or a grandparent - because you know if it ISN'T easy, you'll hear about it for life.My one dislike is the lack of built in cup holders. I'll deal, but I'm just saying - do you know how many times a person has to reach back and grab a dropped cup/snack/toy? Even with the detachable cup holder, they'll figure it out and toss it aside. My dislike isn't enough to remove a star from my rating, because this is about SAFETY and not this Mom's convenience in keeping kids entertained with food.

My 7 month old loves it
This thing is heavy duty! Upon receiving the seat I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the cushion to wash. I have a Britax Advocate for my 2.5 year old daughter, and purchased this thinking it would be the same, but this version is very different. Once you remove it and put it back together you realize it looks more difficult than it actually is. It is very easy to take apart and put back together. The only thing I didn't care for is how short the buckle is. My son went from 7 pounds to 23 pounds in 4 months, so he's got some thick thighs on him. I ended up replacing it with a maxi cosi one I had because it was digging into his chubby legs. My son absolutely hated his Britax B-Safe, but I hardly hear a sound from him when he's in this thing. He seems to be comfortable and more relaxed in this.
