Nooblest Perfume For Women Version Of New West Discontinued Old Favorite - (Regular Strength)

I still have some of the original New West that I save for special occasions. I’m scared for it to run out!! :( ....but I’ve been starting to look for more when it’s gone. This is the closest I’ve come to it smelling like the original New West which is really hard to do, so it definitely says a lot. I would recommend for someone who’s looking. It’s not exactly the smell but it is pretty close. I have yet to wear it so i don’t know how long it’ll last and if the same smell lasts the whole time it’s on you, but it is strong and smells nice. Thanks for the effort, looks like a fine product.

I've lived in las Vegas for thirteen years. This perfume smells like the fragrance being pumped thru the vents, restrooms, cafes and lounges in the casinos. Like when you pass the lobbies and it's smells fragrant or the restroom lounges. This perfume smells like that so I can't get into it.. they included something called maxie , a small free sample, which is a knock off of another $20 perfume called Mackie. Oh me oh my!! Maxie smells yummy!! I keep spraying it on my clothes, it's addicting. It smells like baby powder and flowers. Ill buy maxie again, but not new west. It was a blind buy so I took my chances. Will use the imitation new west as room spray .

I bought "New West Skinscent for Her" at Macy's in the Cape Cod Mall in 1990. I drained that bottle over the next couple years & unfortunately didn't buy more. Over the past 10 years, I've longed to smell New West again. Purchased a few frags that were supposed to evoke NW (including Calvin Klein's Escape, which doesn't smell even close). I even contacted Estee Lauder (parent company of Aramis, which made New West) see if they would ever re-release NW (answer: "No"). So, I decided to go for this & am SO glad I did. I can honestly report that my longing has been satisfied - - it was thrilling to smell New West again! This is pretty strong; one small spray suffices for ~6 hrs. Although it's been a really long time, it smells exactly like what I remember NW smelling like when I was in my 20's. The best effect I found is doing one small spritz on a shirt or a scarf. There's really nothing else like the smell of New West (i.e., "Nooblest"). I don't care for fruity or musky fumes & this is neither. There's definitely a melon scent, but it smells kind of like watermelon rind on a breezy ocean beach. There's also a very faint whiff of evergreen/fir tree, which sounds gross but it's extremely light & just gives this perfume a smell that nothing else has. Also some bergamot & flowers (rose, carnation, jasmine) in the heart, and cedar & a touch of suede in the drydown. I plan to decant some into a travel atomizer to take-with although, again, just like with original NW, this is not one to overdo, people. If you loved the original New West back in the 90's, this is your best chance to re-live it! (Post script: I rely a lot on reviews before purchasing anything, but also realize that we live in a world where some reviews are "purchased." I'm a federal civilian paper-pusher in my 50's living in VA; my review is sincere & honest. And I want to thank the other reviewers on here who gave honest feedback on this gorgeous blast-from-the-past. Your opinions helped me rediscover this unique perfume!)

First off, the bottle leaked during shipment. The smell of alcohol was so strong I was afraid to even try it. Reluctantly, I sprayed some on a paper towel to try and give it a chance. After the alcohol evaporated, it wasn’t too bad. I then tried a little on myself and it was overpowering. I tried washing it off and too my surprise it smelled better.I was an avid fan of New West. I smell some of the same tones but something is off. I now have a horrible headache from it and it will probably go straight out to the trash to avoid feeling any sicker.I usually only wear high end perfumes for this very reason.Nice try, just not for me.

Okay.....I read pretty much all the reviews on this perfume before I bought it. And it sat in my cart for 6 months cause I was leery on it. I finally just purchased it and I have to say it’s pretty darn close.This faux scent is a little bit more peppery but for the most part it’s darn close and for the price it’s perfect 👍 I do recommend it if you can’t afford the $300-$700 dollar real fragrance.

Perfume smells almost exact to New West. This was my mom’s favorite perfume and she was heartbroken when they discontinued it. Was very happy with scent. Spot on. The only problem I had was with the bottle. Not sure if it’s a manufacturer defect. But the bottle had leaked alittle bit during shipping and I lost a good 1/3 of the product. Besides that I’m very happy with this perfume and would purshase it again in the future.

It does smell very close to new west and there’s just one powdery scent at first that takes about 30 minutes to clear off, kind of like old perfume but than it goes away and smells sweet and fruity. I’ll definitely buy again. And the free sample they sent me was so amazing and now I will also orderLa Vena Este Beleer Also. It’s my favorite.

I received my order today I could not wait for it to arrive as I have been looking for this scent for ever. First let me say it came super quick and iam so happy I took the gamble this is prefect the scent is spot on I could not be happier. Its a large bottle it sprays just the right amount.I used to work in a department store in high school and I was able to get tons of samples of perfume and try them out. I received so many kind words about this scent. I thought this was gone forever. Fast service cam quick and they even gave me a small free gift cant get better than that.I will reorder as soon as I run out... so take a chance on getting a discontinued scent back in your life its worth it..
