I like how this packs down to a small lightweight bag, particularly since it covers a decent amount of space when assembled. I thought maybe the poles would take up a lot of space when packed but they don't.It's pretty easy to reorient as the sun moves or the wind shifts and there's also plenty of room underneath for several people. Since it doesn't require tent stakes, you can pretty much use this anywhere - at the beach, camping, grass/lawn, even hard surfaces like a parking lot. Takes about 10 minutes to setup, and would probably be quicker once you've done it several times.

Well, this was a score. Single person set up on the beach in about 5 mins. Not sure if this one came with a small shovel....bring one. The anchor pockets worked great. I loaded them with a large rock and beach sand and they held strong. Teardown was easy and not a grain of sand stuck to the anchors or canopy. Stretch it tight per the instruction and it'll hold up in strong winds at the beach. The only issue I had was a lot of fluttering in high winds. I had an extra set of poles and put 1 in the front and it fixed it right away. The winds were every bit of 20mph. It's highly adjustable with the poles provided, even more so with extra poles. I think this one is available with 4 poles, if so, it's worth the extra few bucks.

This was a waste of money. It is light weight and conveniently packed. However, the set up is NOT easy. The product had a snag in it the minute I took it out of package. The set up is HARD! We read directions and watched video multiple times before taking this out to the beach. We worked and worked with it and even had two other men help us with this tent. It would NOT stay up. We dug hole for pole overfilled the sand bags etc. all the things that other people had suggested. We finally gave up and just took it down. Complete waist of money. I am so disappointed that I bought this

Very nice material and very stretchy. The poles are easy to assemble. I'm not a big fan on the pouches that hold sand to keep the shade stable but I'll use sand steaks with them to assure a good anchor point. Overall not bad for the money. Better then a huge and heavy tent.

This was a great tent that we used at the beach for about 4 days. It's quick to setup, covers much more area than an umbrella, and keeps away the sunburn! Unfortunately, with the winds at our Texas beaches, multiple sand bags ended up ripping at the seams on this because of the steady pull of the wind. I plan to have my daughter sew them back up but it's not as sturdy as I thought.

We (full family with grandkids) used this for a week in Hilton Head. Very easy to set up and it withstood the windy conditions very well. The pouches that hold the sand are well made and hold a lot of sand to hold it in place. Also it's easy to move the poles to opposite corner(s) when the sun moves. We will use this every vacation.

It's lightweight and relatively easy to put up. But you better hope there's no breeze. It's very unstable and collapses easily.

This is exactly what we were after when we purchased this- a sturdy sunshade large enough to fit multiple people.The polls are independently adjustable so you can set this up quickly on uneven ground.While we haven't used this at the beach, it definitely protected us from the sun and provided shade at the park. The quality was better than I was expecting and this is going to last us a good long time. Easily the superior choice when comparing this to a beach umbrella.
