1 9 5 8 thunderbird holly float type carburetor used at end of run of 5/16 i .d.between the fuel pump and carb. so no reverse of fuel leaving carb.over long periods of non use. one psi required to allow fuel to travel one way at valve.

Takes a small amount of pressure for fuel to flow.
It is much bigger then needed for fuel lines on a car. Find something else.

A part looking for time to kill someone.
This is a very dangerous product. The thread are not tight and the fuel leaks. It only leaks when the engine is not running. Thinking every thing was o.k.after starting engine and running it for a long time without.a leak, we thought we were good to go. After we were stopped for a long time did we notice the problem. It could have resulted in a disaster. The dealer is a fool in selling this item.

Valve improperly threaded
The check valve is made of quality material ,but the pipe threads were threaded too deep and the fittings bottom out in the valve and they leak constantly. I bought 2 of the check valves and they both have the same issue. I will not buy again.
