I got them all!
There are three of these books. They are beautifully illustrated by Karen Pence.

Important civics lesson for young readers
This book explains the meaning behind the Pledge of Allegiance. Each full page watercolor illustration has a paragraph or two on a second grade reading level. The bunny takes the reader on a tour of Washington DC to illustrate particular aspects of the Pledge of Allegiance. Various national heroes such as Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. are respectfully honored as well as the many soldiers who gave their lives so others could enjoy liberty. This civic/history lesson is easy to grasp and important to understand. Presented pleasantly through colorful full page illustrations it appeals both to the young reader and preschoolers. Highly recommended to those looking for an easy format to teach the important aspects of the Pledge of Allegiance to young children.

This sequel definitely improves upon the first one
My main gripe with the first book was that it lacked the "informative" factor. Only brief information was given. I mean it was good enough, but I would have loved to see some more details of the VP's day. This book has Marlon Bundo going around various places. It's cute and definitely more informative. It is so amusing to see things from a rabbit's point of view.

Introduce your children to American history
I bought this book to donate to my local library. I'm hoping our wonderful small library's Children's program will benefit from having it available. I, of course, had to make sure it was what I hoped it would be. It met my expectations and then some. I even learned from it. Marlon is the perfect guide and just enough information that will help inquisitive minds want to learn more. Well written and lovely illustrations.
