Bought this after seeing a number of YT vids reviewing all the various mobos based on the 450 chipset.This board repeatedly scored highest in all the tests. I replaced my existing mobo (from a premium priced competitor & with a 3 yr warranty) with this & all the niggles went away.My eight-pack 3200 RAM runs perfectly on auto settings (compared to days of tests using the Ryzen DRAM calculator to give the baseline), the CPU is stable & temps are all where I want them.As is normal with MSi you get a few little extras which are nice but for me it was component quality that made this mobo my choice.***UpdateMore than six months of steady use has shown this to be an excellent board (& FYI I've been building PCs for more than 20 years.)The quality & presentation of this MSI mobo is high & I'm pleased to see support for Ryzen 3000 series & new RAM compatibility added in BIOS updates.The BIOS has a great deal available to those who like OC & is made more user friendly with its own internal search function. I've found setting up my hardware straightforward & BIOS defaults work fine to allow you to get the basic system ready for tweaking. BIOS updates are also very straightforward.All-in-all this is a solid purchase & well featured for this price point. No qualms in recommending this board whatsoever.

I bought this Tomahawk motherboard on Black Friday 2019 for about £89.99 as part of a new PC build (1st time building it myself).I put a lot of research into make sure I was confident of having the best parts and this motherboard was the clear choice for me out of all the other AMD compatible boards out thereFor a "budget" board you get so much for your money here firstly it was so easy to install the parts and then putting it in the case. Good number of fan headers and sata connections as well.Note that if you use an M.2 SSD that 2 SATA ports deactivate but they've kept it convenient in the fact that the sata ports are numbered 1-6 and the 2 highest ports 5 and 6 would be deactivatedThe next best thing for me about this motherboard was the BIOS it was so easy to use, one click of a button in the bios activated the XMP profile to make full use of my 3200mhz RAM and changing the smart fan control settings to make the fans go quicker at higher temps was really easy to do also. Installing latest BIOS updates and windows 10 was also really east to do with this board.On youtube Paul's Hardware recently built a new PC with this board and his step by step really convinced me that this motherboard was the easiest to work with and you should definitely check it outThe RGB light strip on this board is controlled by msi mystic light software but note that software doesn't control any RGB on the MSI RTX graphics cards instead needing other software so syncing is harder unless you go for a static colour scheme. This didnt bother me really I actually kept my cpu and gpu as their rainbow colours to differentiate from the rest of the RGB in my buildAll in all it's a great board aesthetically pleasing and it has enough USB ports on the back to cover all my accessories but every slot is used so would have preferred maybe 1 or 2 more USB ports on the back but it's not a big deal. After my old computer died, I needed a new one and this time I was finally going to build it myself. I haven't been researching computer building for a few years now so I had to do some researching so I could find the most popular and best motherboard for 2019 and a good price for it.I came across MSI B450 Tomahawk and I was amazed by the price of it as a whole. This motherboard offers so much for the price and you literally can't get anything better. MSI loves to added little touches onto their products just to make it look more pleasant. The RGB lights are a nice touch on, it gives many people the ability to make their build look nicer and show it off more pleasant.The motherboard itself, it came in perfect condition and everything was working. The manual was super helpful and very clear on how to install it. It has lots of diagrams and pictures to help you see what you need to do. Overall, it was a very easy motherboard to install and I was pleasant with the outcome. You are literally getting so much for the cheap price, I would not expect to get anything else near this price from any other manufacturers. I defiantly recommend this to anyone who is trying to build a PC for the first time or just looking to do an upgrade who are on a budget!

Compatible with a Ryzen 3700x out of the box. Easy to use for a first time PC builder. All the parts are clearly labelled. Came with 2 SATA cables and and IO shield (which i wasn't expecting). CPU was easy to install and by default, it was compatible with the 3700x stock cooler so just had to clamp that on. All the connectors were in good positions and the graphics card i bought (msi 2070 super gaming x trio), even though its one of the bigger /heavier ones, is secured nicely by the motherboard /case.Once built, i did have a few issues with the PC not booting the first time you power it on (had to power on a couple of times). I changed a couple of elements in the bios (UEFI). Also disabled windows fast-boot and re-installed the graphics drivers. Not sure what the issue was, or if it was a combination of things but it seems to have worked. You also have to enable XMP in the bios to get the most out of your RAM. Do your research online and you should be ok. The BIOS itself is easy to navigate.The RGB on the motherboard is minimal but fine. I've got 3 MSI devices in my setup and the all appear in Dragon Center to control RGB etc.I've not tired overclocking yet so can't comment on that.All-in-all, very pleased i purchased this motherboard. Particularly because it's very good value.

Ottima scheda madre, monta processori di 1°, 2° e 3° Generazione AMD. Per i processori di 3° Gen dovete aggiornare il Bios per farli funzionare bene.Detto ciò la scheda è ottima per il gaming, monta come già detto processori AMD, Ram DDR4 fno ad una frequenza di 4133 Mhz, ha uno slot M.2 e Pci.Nel pannello posteriore troviamo due usb 3.2 e due usb 2.0. Ha la scheda video integrata collegabile tramite Hdmi e Dvi. Ai Jack si possono connettere, un microfono, cuffie, altoparlanti collegati singlarmente per creare un effetto surround.Nella scatola ci sono i cd dei driver ed il manuale in inglese e tutte le viti per montarla in un case. Il bios è anche in inglese ed altre lingue ma non è presente l'italiano.

This motherboar is suitable for all ryzen models its a best budget motherboards it have 4 usb 3.2,usb type c, even a tpm 2.0 chip in it (tpm : trusted platform module an additional layer of security used by win 10 defrnder ) which is good i have used this for 6 month and reviewing it now. I have abserved that temperature never rises more than 45 degree c in, supports higher clocked ram, buit in xmp 2. 0 support, built in overclocking profiles, virtualisatio is enabled with this motherboard in an amd platform is really good because never heard that amd processor supprt virtualisation have support for usb 3.0 for a front pannel. Bios Can be updated without attaching ram or proceesor its a huge motherboard so heating is nit big issue in this board, even after use of 8 hrs maybe due to huge heat sinks provided, remeber if you buy this board make sure that your smps (power supply unit) have additional power connection it is needed in it. Those who are thinking that they can use a graphics card and an nvme simultanuosly then it is not possible on this motherboard you can use only one either nvmr or graphic 😔it is the only demerit i found in it rest it has got pci express 3.0 x16 and and one 2.0 dont think that u will get good rgb into the motherboard it is poor rgb may be the most cheap but it dosen't looks so nice it is just okay myistic light is supported in it. Cd is included in it with a lot of garbage app yes the cd is full of garbage only 2 things u will find well 1. Sound driver 2.mystic light software and 3.outdated vega graphics driver. Sound boost in this board is good not the perfect but better than common boards even some expensive on also, it has got 19200000 hertz of frequecy which is really high but i have seen some better also but this is uncommon this much hertz is sufficient to blow your ears 😂. Next it has got one good feature super charger 2 amps 5 volt this is really great my smart phine charges up quickly and i pluged a wifi in it really enhances performence. Its hdmi supports 60 hertz with 1080p and 30 jertz with 4k but this time ryzen proceesor is not made for 4k it untill you have a good graphic card with it and 30 hertz will make you feel choppy and bluring and sometimes ghosting too so for 4k i will not recomend it for 1080p 60 hrtz is sufficient from my poiny of veiw all same for its dvb port also. Warning dont flash bios without taking a power backup like ups otherwise you will loose your motherboard. It have no beeper so will be quiet on startup rest details are alredy in product's description in last my opinion will be to ise an 16 gb ram with it because if you use vega graphics it will take up your 2 gb memroy form ram and only 14 gb will be usable

Top Qualität super Mainboard...Hab den PC mit folgenden Komponenten zusammen gebaut:rx580 8gb Puls GPURyzen 3 3200 CPU2x8gb RAM G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 DIMMSo PC fertig, an den Bildschirm angeschlossen, und Bios....Boot von HDD und Windows 10 installiert.Anschliessend problemlos alle Treiber installiert und testweise far cry 2 gezockt.Nach 60 Minuten die Systemmeldungen in der ereignisanzeige gecheckt. Keine Fehler.Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Alles lief problemlos auf höchsten Grafik Einstellungen. Die CPU war nicht fürs zocken gedacht, hab es mir aber angewöhnt so meine Hardware zu testen :)Klare kaufempfehlung.Ich musste kein bios update machen, alles wurde sofort erkannt.
