Fantastic book, brilliantly written
Clear, direct information, well set out and highly insightful, especially regarding emotions around food. I have now listened to Judy’s podcasts and she is a very respectful interviewer and a joy to listen to on the topic of metabolic health.The best source for learning to heal your body through a ground zero approach for anyone, vegan, veggie or someone on a typical western diet.

Really useful and informative
Absolutely fabulous read. Took on so much useful information about the body and nutrition and how certain foods affect the body and vitamin and mineral information. Really love this book and highly recommend for anyone wanting to emprove their health. Very easy to read also.

Worth it
This is the first book I had read since being a kid and I am hooked. I’ve always struggled with reading but for some reason I find this easier or focus on than most writing. It has motivated me to help cure my illness through an elimination diet and the extra resources and picture guides are really useful!

The educational background of the author should really have been a big enough clue as to why this book would not be a reliable or valid source. Avoid.

dangerous diet
There is not one long term, peer reviewed study showing any improved health outcomes of the carnivore diet. There are however, many showing the detrimental effects of eating a lot of meat.The biggest limitation of any discussion of a carnivore diet is the lack of research. All studies on an animal based diet are over a short time period (a few days), or case studies of Antarctic explorers or victims of scurvy or reviews which always involved at least some plants. Studies that last just a few days can only tell about short term effects. In the longer term, poor nutrition may cause thyroid problems, hormonal problems, nutrient deficiencies, heart disease, stroke, etc. Proponents of a carnivorous diet claim that the human body's nutritional needs are different after several months of eating only meat, but there is NO research to back this up. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Highly recommended if you are just getting started on the Carnivore Lifestyle Way of Eating! This book was so educational and Judy makes it very clear for anyone to understand!

Sehr gutes Buch über carnivore Ernährung
Judy Cho vermittelt hier sehr umfangreich und gut verständlich wie man sich für uns Menschen artgerecht(carnivor=Fleischbasiert) ernährt und damit viele Zivilisationskrankheiten wie Übergewicht, Diabetes, Bluthochdruck, Herzkreislauferkrankungen, Magen-Darmprobleme und vieles mehr in den Griff bekommen kann. Umdedingt lesen und sich gesund und fit essen!

REALLY GOOD
I really liked this book, I read other books about this diet and in my opinion this is the most complete one...I missed a little bit more information about constipation (other than the usual tips in this kind of diet that usually are: eat more fat ... not everyone can and not everyone tolerate bile supplements), also I missed options for those who don't tolerate betaine hcl to increase stomach acid, but I understand that it's difficult or impossible to individualize ...The book is GREAT and covers all topics and general doubts. I highly recommend it, very informative and interesting. Good work Dr. Judy :)
