Scandinavian Comfort Food: Embracing the Art of Hygge

As a a first gen Canadian of Danish origin, it was wonderful to read and buy this book, and relate to the stories and wonderful recipes!

While it says "Scandinavian", this book is actually mostly Danish, which is fine as Danish cuisine is more diverse than that of Norway and Sweden. The approach is for attractive and delicious foods that can be made at home. There are a few ingredients that aren't easy to find here in Southern California, like Garfish, but most recipes don't require these. Well written and nicely illustrated, by a person native to the cuisine.

Good recipes, nice book for any collection

Das Kochbuch gefällt mir inhaltlich sehr gut. Die Rezepte stammen größtenteils aus Dänemark und das erinnert mich an meine Zeit, als ich dort gelebt habe. Die Auswahl ist super.Leider wurde das Buch mit vier kaputten Ecken geliefert. Auch die Verpackung hatte einige Schäden. Ich habe das Kochbuch zurückgeschickt und bekomme es nun erstattet.

Splendido libro per calarsi nelle atmosfere scandinave: a fianco di sfiziose e golose ricette, un interessante apparato fotografico e qualche nota di folklore del luogo. Testo in inglese adatto a lettori con conoscenza media della lingua.
