These work great. They are a tad bit bigger than a standard spice jar you would buy from a grocery store. These is the size you want if you make spices and like transporting them; like camping.

These are good quality plastic jars. I actually had some exactly like this already, my grocery store sells them and I compared them side by side to verify they were the same. These are 8 oz bottles made of clear PET plastic. They work well for spices, baking soda or powder or anything you buy in bulk that needs to be sprinkled or spoon-measured. The lid has two flip tops, one is a shaker and one is for spoon measuring.Having a supply of extra spice jars around has made me think of all the possibilities outside of spices. Keep baking soda by the litter box in an easy to sprinkle spice jar? Check. Loose tea mixes floating around? Check. Homemade colored sugar sprinkles? Dry shampoo? Eye of newt and wing of bat? My first thought when I saw these was "glitter"! A generous eight ounces with a shaker top is perfect for my glitter mixes and other nail art supplies. Of course, perfect for spices and blends also. But I can see these holding screws, nails, and other small tools. Made with good strong plastic these are not the iffy quality of the dollar store variety.
