Update: squirrels love electric cords. Who knew. 3 lights were chewed off before I noticed. EVEN SO, what remains are so bright we still have plenty of light!!! I put chiracha sauce on remaining light cords and no further were chewed off. So pleased! (Now to original submission):I bought a 12 by 12 metal patio building and wanted lights to go around the perimeter. I bought 2 strands not realizing these lights were so bright and covered the entire building with just one strand. I love the Edison bulb look, very warm and don't put out much heat. They went all the way around the building without problem. I did purchase the recommended cord clips and they made installation a breeze. I didn't bother with a remote control. I just plug them into the heavy duty extension cord a purchased to use with lights and the Allenn and Roth fan that I also purchase. I just unplug them from the wall when done in the evening. Just excellent lights. I don't know what I'm going do with the extra strand I bought, but these are such superior lights I know I'll find a good use for them. Excellent buy. Would highly recommend.

These are really great and way cheaper than what you can buy at even harbor freight. I replaced an old set of string lights with these and I love these. The good thing about these is that the bulbs are easily replaceable if they go out.I spanned a cable from tree to tree and then used S hooks to connect these lights.I also took a little bit of extra time to make sure the sockets don’t corrode. I use the little dab of electrical grease on each bulb thread Just to try to keep any moisture out and keep corrosion down.The other great thing about these lights are that they are simple! There is no transformer to take a crap or any other boxes or circuitry. These are literally line voltage all the way through Which simplifies things. There is less that can go wrong. Looking forward to the reliability of these things.I also used an outdoor timer that turns the lights on at 5:30 PM, off at 11:30 PM, and then back on for an hour in the morning just before sun up

Loved that they look like glass but are plastic. No worries of breaking them when moving then around and putting them up. They really light up an area. Used on our patio and around our gazebo. Enough light to play cards and see what your doing.

But lately we have been experiencing a “flicker”. Sometimes it’s quick. Sometimes like in video it’s a second or two. Would like for the manufacture to help in this one.

They are perfect for our back porch!

I am so pleased with these lights I can't recommend them high enough. The glow they give off is a warm glow--not the blue or strict white usually seen. I bought 2-48' strands and they light the area I had in mind quite nicely but don't over-brighten. They set a cozy mood. I have them strung outside and hooked them up to an outside smart plug so they operate remotely on command or on timer. They did not come with a remote control. Worth the price.

I originally purchased three sets to add to replace some of my backyard lights. We use them all year round and they held up great during the cold and freezing winter. So much so, I recently bought two more sets to replace the last sets of the old group. The lights are LED and brighter than the Edison glass bulb types sold at warehouse stores. The plastic bulbs are durable and can swing in the wind just fine. One thing to keep in mind is that they are only two-pronged vs three-pronged if you are connecting to other lights. Would recommend based on durability and price.

I like the cable. The lights look nice too but...They kill my eyes. They seem to have a high frequency strobe effect. Its probably the 60hz ac turning them off and on over and over. I can pick up the strobe on my camera rolling shutter.Its not visible to the eye and looks fine when sitting still, but if you move around the patio your head starts to hurt a little.I think this is a pretty common problem with some budget LEDs bulbs. Also it probably wouldn't be as bad in a larger area with the lights more spread out than my patio.Im going to replace the bulbs with different ones but keep using the cable.Thought I'd share incase you want to use them like I did.

Perfecto para mis necesidades. Me agrado mucho que las bombillas sean plasticas, esto creo yo, las hace mas resistentes, y ademas que sean luces LED no tengo que preocuparme por el consumo de energía.

El largo fue perfecto para el lugarcito donde la coloqué, y la iluminación me sorprendió, comprare mas en un futuro para todo mi jardín

Las luces estan muy bien hechas, la calidad del material se nota y las luces iluminan muy bien.Solamente trae un foco de repuesto, seria bueno trajera 2.

Solo vino con 1 foco de repuesto cuando en la descripción decía que vendrían 2. Aún así, todas funcionan y se ven muy bien ya instaladas. Iluminan con luz cálida y hace un ambiente más tranquilo. Satisfecha con la compra.
