Won’t be sorry with this purchase!
This book was so interesting and I love the style of Peter Musis’ writing. I love reading about the subject of witches and this book held my attention way into the early hours (or late however you look at it) of the morning. I finished it in one sitting. I highly recommend this book

Fun and informative
I've heard author Peter Muise say in interviews that he wrote this book because he wanted all these stories to be in one place - to have one handy reference for stories and legends of Massachusetts witches. By collecting them and presenting them here, he's also created a way for readers to see the through-lines in the stories we tell about witches, from actual cases and prevalent beliefs of the earliest Puritan times, to the travesties of the Salem witch trials, to the creepy folklore, legends and ghost stories of the 19th and 20th centuries. He also explores what stories about witches might mean in the different eras. This was a fun and informative read, highly recommended. I hope Peter Muise has more books to come, like maybe collections of witch stories in the other New England states?!

Incredible collection of Witch/Warlock stories
On the very onset this book delivers on its promise. Not only does it bring you into the authors personal experiences, it also shows how society always has a tendency to blame strange as the result of Witches. This book brings an amazing collection of stories from the NE that range from the earliest colonists to recent.Great addition to anyones library.
