Compatible for Rainsoft UF-50, UF-50T Filter Set by CFS

I was annoyed by the local Rainsoft dealer that had an obnoxious salesman calling me regularly to try to convince me to buy his overpriced filters. I found these here and figured for 30% the cost that my local guy wanted it was worth the try.I found that they fit well, and aside from some minor irrelevant cosmetic variance, I couldn't tell the difference between theses and the Rainsoft branded filters I removed. My R/O filter is running well and the water tastes great. I noticed no irregularities in water flow or regeneration times, nor off color tastes or smells once the system was re-primed.I will order these again when the time comes.

I never write reviews but in view that this product is so below par, I felt compelled and recommend that when installing filters it is wise to have water testers to verify that your water quality is not detrimental to your health.I installed the filters according to instructions. I measured the quality of water from the tap and it read 279 ppm and has unusual and unpleasant odor which according to the water provider it is supposed to be acceptable. The quality of water from the filters measured with HM Digital TDS-EZ Water Quality TDS Tester reads TDS 255 ppm; after emptying the water reservoir 2 times and several readings over a period of three days the lowest reading is still 255. I am not sure what these filters are supposed to be filtering but the water quality is marginally acceptable. I do not recommend these nor would I ever buy it again. 50 GPD TF Rainsoft Replacement

This was so much better than having Rainsoft come out to my house to install this exact same thing for three times as much, and it is so easy to install yourself/

DOES NOT WORK with Rainsoft Ultrefiner II system! Don’t trust other comments here about it working. However, I gave 2 stars since the company gave me a full refund. This is a good company in that scenario.

This filter works for our house. It was easy for us to install. I love not overpaying for one and paying to have it installed. Been working almost a year now.

Not Rainsoft quality but it at least is working as good as the dirty filter it replaced according to my TDS meter. For the cost I can't complain.
