Mid-Century Modern: High-End Furniture in Collectors' Interiors

A ridiculously expensive book, this might be the most expensive coffee table book I ever bought. It is enormous and truly only good for the coffee table. But what pictures! Pornography for people addicted to this style like I am, easily the nicest book I have ever seen on this subject.

I love this book! It is quite expensive though. It was a birthday gift to myself. It did not disappoint. The book is so large, the paper is heavy and the photos are excellent quality. I have found myself going back to this book over and over whether it be for inspiration or education. As an interior designer, it is a must have in my library!

If you're not careful, mid-century can be overstated. This book teaches you subtlety. I love this book. If you are inclined to this style, you'll find great examples of classic, minimalist look to mid-century. The look can be clean, spacious, colors in perfect harmony, timeless.

The book has great content if you are into home decor and it complement my coffee table so well, I'm real fugl when it comes to spending on unnecessary things, I don't follow tends too often but this purchase was well worth it and I have no regrets.

I expected modern cool decors that were inspirational and accessible. The book is heavy and big and the design felt the same. Showcases famous homes of those who spend a lot to be noticed. It misses the creative whimsical organic spark of modernism.
