Great starter scissors
This set of scissors was just what I was looking for: can cut through paper, easy for little hands to handle and safe. My 3 and 4 year old grandkids found them easy to work and they were happy to cut up old newspapers. I would recommend them.

No blades. No cutting.
These don't have blades. So they don't actually cut. The description didn't specify this.

Safe but not able to cut anything other than paper.
These are skin/fingers safe for sure because it is very dull and only able to cut one page of regular copy paper or something similar. It does not actually cut but pure shear. It does not cut film or any flexible material like that cause they will just bend and flex. So if you are buying this for your kids cutting craft paper, this is very safe. So it is as advertised. As for me, I was trying to find a safe scissor for my work safety project and this was not the solution even tho they are very safe!

Can't really cut!
Gave it to my 3 year old daughter who was eager to try this pretty scissors and found that she was not able to cut paper at all which she used to cut with ease using a scotch 3M scissors which had real blades. I took it and tried and even I couldn't cut the paper without much effort and the paper would generally come out without a slightly torn edge, definitely not smooth. It may not be fair to compare it to a scissors with real blade as this is supposed to be safer, however, I still expected it to be able to cut and used by a 3 year old. Due to this I am returning it back.

Safety For Sure
If you're looking for something safe, these fit the bill. They only cut paper & not even ALL paper!

Well constructed and easy to use.
Great size and the fact that you get six for this price is great. My twins each have 1 of the three colors and don't have to fight over them.

My pre-schoolers hate using them
These are okay if you want to give them to toddlers who won’t avtually cut anything. My pre-schoolers hate using them! They don’t cut.

These scissors give you peace of mind with the little ones.
I loved these scissors. I tested them on my own hair and clothes before handing them over to my pre-k students. This gives them total independence to cut paper whenever they want without fear of them going home with a new haircut or holes in their clothes. They have held up really well to months of use.
