Perfect for someone with bad knees
My Dad is in his 80's and his knees are weak. He was having problems getting into his house because of the height of the step. We discussed installing a ramp or a stability bar, but when I saw this low cost option, I decided to give it a try. It reduces the height of the step by half and now it is so much easier for him to get in and out of the house. Even my Mom finds it helpful. It is very sturdy and well made. A relative over 250 lbs has used it too and did not damage the step. I would purchase this again.

Great assistance for elderly or partially disabled
This step stool is fantastic! Sturdy and strong. I now have 5 of them. One each by my two patio doors, one at the front door, one to assist me in and out of my SUV, and one I carry in the SUV, when going to valet/wheelchair assisted medical facilities. This stool has give me back my Independence, allowing me to safely get up steps and into the car, which I could not do before due to limited leg strength. The size allows you to turn around on it, when using it to get into a car, and safely reach the seat. By having so many, I do not have to worry or try and move them around. Thank you for a great product.

Sturdy, wide step
This is a very sturdy step, surprisingly so for something thatโs lightweight. It has a number of support columns built in throughout the base. The top of the step is textured presumably to make it non-slip; we use it primarily in the garage so I canโt comment on how well that world. When I bought this it seemed insanely expensive, but itโs really the only wide step able to handle over 300lb and so far has worked quite well for our needs. I recommend it.

It does the job
It's a good size, light weight, yet sturdy and stable. Provides just the right size step up to enable grandma to get in the minivan by herself (which she insists on!). It's a little odd in that it twists and warps until you put it on the ground, but then it flattens and grips the pavement with non-skid feet that don't slip. Feels very safe when in use. Recommended.

Step to freedom
This platform step has been extremely helpful. My mother is 110, yes 110 years old and relies completely, on it for getting into my Toyota Highlander. Without this aide she would be housebound.
