Great Product! Great Price!
Teaching guitar and bass guitar at a University means that I tune quite a bit and every lesson requires a student to tune. I purchased this tuner to use in lessons because I'd heard it was a great tuner and because the price was incredible - I wouldn't lose the farm if one of my students accidentally walked away with it. First and foremost, it is a GREAT tuner. It has quickly moved up my ranks to a tuner I take to gigs. I rank it alongside my expensive strobe and digital tuners that go on the road with me. It is easy to use and is easy to see in both the classroom and stage settings. My students love the different instrument functions that make tuning easier. Next, its looks and design are very cool. It angles nearly every direction to make placement on your instrument as conspicuous or inconspicuous as you need it to be. It is a great color - more people ask me about the tuner than my guitar since I've had it. The screen also is very plain and bright. The color change for being "in tune" is a huge help. Finally, the price can't be beat. As a musician, it's easy to spend a good deal of money on accessories, so I'm constantly searching for ways to beat that expense. With this tuner, I've found a way to do it. For this price, it was shipped quickly, works perfectly, came with extra battery and is worth buying an extra for backup. It's a great stocking stuffer for my musician friends who have everything.

Stellar Product -- a must have for all serious musicians!
I'll keep this simple and to the point. I've been playing guitar for 10+ years now, and this is the first time in a LOOOONG time that I'm excited about and willing to review a product. To put it bluntly, the Tiny Tuner is SUPER easy to use. One thing I love is how the device turns green when I'm perfectly tune. My old tuner looks ANCIENT compared to this one. This is a must have device for any serious guitarist, and I will be recommending all of my musician friends to also purchase the Tiny Tuner!

miracle worker!
I used to use a large digital quartz tuner to tune my banjo and guitar. I tuned my violin and banjo ukelele, less accurately, with the piano. When my ukulele-playing friend told me about clip on tuners for the ukulele, I was interested, thinking I could now have a device for tuning just my ukulele. Hmmm, all I would then need to buy would be an oboe to tune my violin. In researching various clip-on tuners online, I came upon the Tiny Tuner CT-10. WOW! It would tune all four of my instruments! To make a long story short, I now own two Tiny Tuners CT-10 and have just ordered a third for a friend. These tuners are fantastic, accurate, tiny, and user-friendly. I've compared the readings of the Tiny Tuner with my big digital Quartz Tuner when tuning my guitar and they are the same! My favorite rave is that Tiny Tuner is easy for 70-yr-old + eyes to see and read, since blue means "not in tune" and green means "great". I don't have to be able to see the tiny needle. I just need to distinguish between brightly illuminated blue and green. Ahhhh, life is in tune TinyTuner CT-10 Clip-on Chromatic Tuner for guitar, bass, violin, ukulele & more with the Tiny Tuner CT-10!WARNING: Remember to remove the batteries between uses, or else the batteries will go dead. Don't know why. But, removing the battery is no big deal.

Don't waste your money
Purchased this because I liked the compactness and the cheap price. Wasn't worth it. Battery would not make connection. If I took the battery out and put back in, it might work but more than often not. Tried couple batteries, same problem. Battery worked in different electronic device so battery was not the problem.

I got very little use out of it...
It comes with two batteries but the two batteries lasted maybe a week. Honestly not sure if the tuner is bad or the batteries, but either way I paid money for a product that didn't live up to my expectations. As a tuner, it did fine when it did work. May consider re-rating it if I can find some batteries and it does last a while.

Tiny tuner
Works well, only problem is after a couple weeks I thought that the battery was dead. But find that I have to remove battery and install it again, then it works great, but have to go thru that process each time to turn it on.

Great Tuner-Terrible Batteries
I started out looking for a tuner for my acoustic guitar. Then I saw this tuner: A violin, bass, guitar, and ukelele tuner. I play all of these instruments (except bass)and thought "Perfect". When I got it I was surprised about its small size (the display is literally the size of a quarter). If you have poor eyesight it might be difficult to see the needle, but I just get a general idea of if I am sharp or flat and tune it until I get the green light. I love how it folds up and it is easy to rotate the display. Here's the bad part:I enjoyed my tuner for about 2-3 months, and then, one day, it wouldn't turn on. I sighed, fiddled with it, and decided it was the battery. I changed it (they sent two) and it was fine. Fast forward to 2-3 months later and it won't turn on again. I'm hoping it's just bad batteries, but I would recommend that if you are relying on this tuner for your big concert, make sure you have a fresh battery on hand.

Pleasantly surprised. You will be, too.
When I saw the tiny box this came in I thought 'uh-oh this was mistake' but after using it for a few tune ups this little thing knocks it out of the park. Very easy to figure out, great display, very accurate, and fits in your pocket, that says it all. I checked tuning vs. my digital korg tuner, and my ears, and could not detect any difference in accuracy. The fact that it glows green when you get it in tune really sells it for me. Even in the dark with no reading glasses I can easily see the string number, note and needle pointer above it. I set it on guitar and chromatic and got great results with both. I can't say anything about reliability because I just got it but I'll repost if this gives me any problems. For now I say 'get it!'.UPDATE!!After about 3 months it would be hard to turn on. I would remove/replace the battery, bend up the contacts, and it would work a few minutes. I tried brand new batteries and had the same results. Now it does nothing. I bought one for a friend and his is okay so I guess these are hit and miss. I threw the box away so there is no sense in trying a warranty return. I bought a Snark so I'll see how that goes.
