His work is a tribute to the phenomenon of self-publishing. This man understands a good deal about love and loss, and the compelling need to protect all that can be found in truly loving relationships.

So happy I purchased this book! I love reading all his posts on Instagram and thought it would be nice to not only support his work but have a hard copy to read whenever I'd like. I truly enjoyed reading every page! R.M. Drake uses his words in a way that really speaks to his readers. I also like the artwork one each page and it helps showcase the creative work from others.If you already like his work from seeing it on social media forums, definitely get this book. You won't be disappointed!

I purchased this for a friend, but I read it beforehand. I found many of the passages very relatable and moving, then others not so much. Overall a worthwhile read.

I've been following R.M Drake on Instagram the past few years. I've always admired his literature; it's honestly relatable. Reading his writing has gotten me through rough times and I always catch myself going to his writing just to read his continuous. I had recently bought this book and I'm IN LOVE. It's an amazing book especially if it's dealt with similar experiences.

No book has ever posed so many questions / ideas that left my mind constantly thinking and wondering.If you want to think about your life, your values, beliefs, and most of all your relationship with both yourself and others, buy it.

After reading some of Drake's poetry online I thought I'd give his books a try. And while there are a few poems in this book that I like, there are many that did absolutely nothing for me. Many of the poems felt like they were just reworded versions of things that already have been said. Some poems even feel like revised versions of other poems in the book. A lot of the poems contain the same exact message and many of the poems overuse a lot of the same symbols (ie: burning, drowning, ect), making half of the poems feel like filler. Overall if I were to go back I would just have stuck to enjoying the snippets of his poetry that are published on the Internet instead of buying a book filled with repetition and recycled ideas.

I wish the poems were longer, like the ones of Pintrest. The font is kind of big, which as a graphic designer I am slightly disturbed by. Other than that, it's a really good book. Not sure if it's worth the $16 though.

Robert Drake is one of my favourites so I was pleased. This book was for a gift. Came into perfect condition and great value of paper. I have the book on my iBooks for myself and I love it.

Robert M. Drake writes some of the most amazing poems I've ever read, Im in love with all of his books and can't wait for more!
