The crayon-like markers in this set leave residue -- like actual crayons, which essentially they are. But at the same time they don't cover scratches well. And the other markers just look like you used a magic marker on your floor (or whatever). Sigh.

Our home is 35 years old and the oak splash guard around our double vanity in the master bath had faded from Golden brown to almost white in some areas where water hits it a lot, like where the towel bars are. I'm not ready to pay for a complete bathroom remodel yet and decided to try these markers instead. Wow...what a difference! I wish I had taken before and after shots so post here so you can see the difference. It was amazing.

But they did not work at all I had to throw them away

Was excited at first but after a few weeks it starts fading. Might as well used a magic marker.

The crayon-like filler sticks do not adhere to the defects in the wood making it completely useless. The markers are too dark for light stained maple wood (the lightest marker appeared lighter in the product photo)
