What should take a few minutes to put up takes at least half an hour, a few crashes, and a fair amount of swearing.

Awesome! I was a little worried about how much weight this could hold because of the other reviews but I have a nice, thick and heavy blackout curtain hanging on it and I have absolutely no issues! I mistakenly purchased hanging rings for my curtain but then realized that one end of the rod screws off and fits through the curtain by itself!

Don't waste your money. This piece of crap won't even hold itself up, much less a curtain of any type.I am in disbelief that they are even allowed to still be selling. Worthless.

Fast shipping. Had the worst time getting this rod to hold up in the window. The rod has no springs. I didn't realize but even so, I can't recommend this product.

The rod does NOT stay in place! It's completely a waste. I'm (WAS) trying to put up a very lightweight curtain in a doorway entrance, and it falls. Won't hold on place.

Don't know much about curtains or rods but these were difficult to get looking right. Otherwise the transaction itself went without a problem.

These rods are difficult to adjust! It took many, many, many tries of turning, locking and trying the fit again before I finally got it to fit the window. They are not easy to adjust like the spring tension rods. However, they are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.

I feel like most people complaining are probably due to user error and nothing to do with this product. It is a tension rod and works on a pretty basic principle, I do work with tools all day in a mechanical position but this requires none of that to install, much simpler than drilling and no damage to finishes. I have bought 3 on there and have 100% full blackout curtains on them, each extended to somewhere between 30-40", maybe if you are going to the max the tension might not be as good but that is just a guess.

Bent in the middle. Very finicky to install so there's enough tension to stay up. Save your money and get a spring mounted tension rod instead.

The product is very easy to install. Simple elegant style. I love it :D

It was fairly priced and did exactly what it’s supposed to do. My curtains are hefty and the rod hasn’t budged!

Nothing to lock the tension of the rod, so it never holds up. Useless.

Quite flimsy and tricky to get fitted in place. I think it might have worked but our walls were just slightly uneven so it wouldn't hold. We gave up and took the ends off and put wooden brackets up to hold the bar 🙄

Pretty easy to install but I wouldn't trust it with heavy curtains. It only fell once but that was due to improper installation. Great for the price.

It doesn't stay up. Can't adjust once you locked. I tried to put a curtain in kitchen window but barely holding up. The design looks nice though.
