Accurate and easy to use
This blood pressure monitor cuff is an important part of my day. I use it to determine medications and dosages of medications, as per my heart doctor’s advice. It’s easy and convenient to use. And I like having a snazzy little box to keep it in because it makes it easy to find. I actually have two of these cuffs because I misplaced one, thought it was gone forever. So I ordered another one. Then I found my other one, of course. I can tell you that both give similar readings and are accurate.

Accurate and Compact
With my dsyautonomia, I take my BP or pulse more than probably most people do and I need one that I can grab easily and be accurate if I'm standing or laying down. I need one that doesn't have an audible alarm if there is a variable heart rhythm and doesn't beep if it's too high .. cause that will just make me more agitated than I already am if I'm having a hyperadrenergic flare! This cuff works great. It is equally as accurate as my upper arm cuff and consistent with other wrist cuffs that I've used in the past.Wrist cuffs in general are a bit tricky. Placement is everything. You have to hold the cuff even with your heart. If you have it dangling at your side, or up over your head (who does that?) you will get inaccurate readings. Remember too, you can't take your BP multiple times on one arm in short succession. The blood vessels can compress too much and give you inaccurate readings. Also if you are new to blood pressure devices at home, talk with your health care professional about what target ranges are okay for you given your medical history. Seeing elevated blood pressure readings (while you are under stress, or having been exercising) can make people worry because they don't understand the nature of blood pressure. Your health care team can give you guidelines about when and how to monitor your blood pressure at home.

Don't buy this
My blood pressure was high at my last physical, so I decided to start keeping track of it. I bought a wrist monitor for ease of use and because the other reviews were so good. Mistake. The readings were completely off kilter from each other. I finally read online and learned wrist cuffs are historically unreliable. Wish I had known that before I bought this one. I have already gotten rid of the packaging so will not be sending it back, but don't waste your money. If you really want to know what your accurate BP is (and if you don't, why bother?), give this one a miss and just buy a regular arm cuff.

Accurate and compares in accuracy to our expensive and accurate arm monitor
UPDATE 10/15/2020: We ended up returning for a refund.Over 20 or more readings compared to our upper arm unit (that has been confirmed as extremely accurate at my Drs office), this cuff.wrist unit is off on readings. Even multiple readings done seconds apart without moving it at all seemed to vary much more than our upper arm unit did.Upon reading/researching more about cuff/wrist versus upper arm units, most of the professional sites (including Mayo Clinic) warn not to use a cuff/wrist unit due to poor accuracy. One factor is the slightest incorrect positioning on wrist can impact your readings substantially.Upper arm units are far more forgiving, stable for accuracy and allow some variation in positioning of where the upper arm cuff is positioned. Not the case for a wrist unit, meaning each time you use it will be a flip of a coin if your readings are accurate and "dependable"!-----------------Well, first to say, the plastic screen is not protected by a film or anything and can rub inside the hard case during shipment. Ours was new and upon opening the case, we noticed scratches and abrasions on it due to no protection.Ok, I said, we can refund/reorder or exchange, but, I did test it out and it's right on the money to our $100 arm BP machine that is very accurate as verified at my Drs office side by side with their professional unit.Be advised that Wrist/Cuff BP machines are generally not considered as accurate or reliable as a good upper arm BP unit. While it is more convenient and space saving, a cuff/wrist unit can be off just due to improper positioning or a poorly engineered/designed one. Google "upper arm versus wrist cuff blood pressure machines" and see what comes up, it will be very informative and help you make a decision!BP results take about 30 seconds or so w/ this machine,.. a bit longer than our large Arm monitor. No biggee.Accuracy and being confident this machine will agree with your Drs results was the highest priority for us.Be advised, some of us all often have an elevated BP at the Dr's. (because we don't want to be there!).Our arm machine compared perfectly at my Drs office. A 2nd reading after relaxing for 5 minutes is almost always lower. This wrist cuff machine was within 2-3 points of our arm machine as tested seconds after this cuff machine came off and I am totally good with its accuracy. We plan to order another one of these as external reviews outside of Amazon suggested this is THE one to buy. This unit may cost more, but, hey, if you want accuracy and to be able to track your true BP, this is the one to invest in!

not accurate
when you are giving BP meds and you take 3 readings and completely different, you can not trust this. 1st reading 187/112, second reading 86/53 third reading= 112/59.

Not consistent readings -- only for the left arm.
Item fits description with some missing I formation. Designed to only work on the leg forearm. Reading are widely inconsistent when compared to reading from another manufacturer even when used properly. The results were so varied my doctor asked to get this replaced rather than use to chart data for those recovering from heart surgery. Hoping to spend the money for the other brand which gas been used successfully for years. This seems a case where spending a bit more really is necessary to get good data.

It is accurate but
the device measures very accurately,i confirm the pulse with my smartwatch and blood pressure with my older device (arm measures) but it measurers very accurately once i followed the steps carefully which are mentioned in the case.if i don't put my arm at the same level with hearth, the result is different, which is acceptable.it is also made in Ukraine with CE certificationcons:the case could have been harder
