7-in-1 Twist-a-Nut Screwdriver / Nutdriver

Every product I have used from IDEAL has been top notch and well thought out. They are just great tools and they work.

I'm really picky when it comes to multi-drivers - REALLY picky. This is the best feeling handle in the hand, the nut driver part unlike most - holds up really well, the tips stay put without being difficult to take out, and the tips are good quality metal too. The soft urethane part of the handle holds up much better than any other I've used, even though I prefer a hard handle - I don't even like Snap-On soft grip drivers so that's saying something.There is ONE I'd consider better except for one fatal flaw - and that's the Snap-On. It's "fatal flaw" is that both nut driver sides are 5/16, so it doesn't have a quarter inch nut driver. Now - I love the hard handle Snap-On screwdrivers, they are hands down the best screwdriver ever made IMHO - but this one feels just as good in the hand, and I don't see wearing it out anytime soon.And now for the "gimmics" - the wire nut tightener, and the wire looper: I would prefer it not to have the wire nut tightener because it would feel a little better when pushing on the back, but it's rounded off really well and when I actually USED that part, it worked surprisingly well. Can get a lot tighter on wire nuts with way less fatigue. The wire looper - makes a perfect size loop, and no pins protruding. I don't usually have a driver in my hand when I'm stripping and looping so I use my strippers wire looper - but when I did use it, it actually worked better than my strippers wire looper because it gauges the depth for you - no guesswork.This is also the second one of these I've owned, and I don't "re-buy" tools unless they fit the bill perfectly. I had the last one for about 6 years before it was lost / stolen - it never wore out.

This is a must have screwdriver for any electrician. I have purchased several over the years as I am very hard on tools. This screwdriver is amazing and I will continue to purchase them as long as I work. I receive numerous inquiries and compliments on my screwdriver and have had several associates purchase one on my recommendation. Get one. You won't regret it.

Go too tool

I've been in the maintenance field for over 31 years. I bought one of these about 20 years ago. I have bought several since then to give to other people. It's my "Go-Too" screwdriver. Love it. If you buy it and don't like it, your nuts and not even remotely close to any kind of maintenance. Stop fooling yourself.

I like ideal tools im a 25 year electrician and I like the wirenut spinner on the end it takes some of the pain out of the wrist when making up boxes
