I purchased this item to protect my garden during summer because it always gets too much sun and damages every plant no matter what I do. So far this item has been terrific! Keeps my plants staying perfectly healthy and still enough light to produce. I also started having severe animal problems and was leaving town so had to come up with something quick. By draping this over all my plants with help of bamboo sticks to hold it up and not on top of plants, it has totally kept the deer and animals out completely. I wish it had some type of piece that helped hang it onto something or strings to tie because it was quite a pain getting it to cover plants and wouldn't work with the initial 6ft wood stakes I bought first thinking would work. So far the products durability has been good. For laying over wood or bamboo pieces that are thin I haven't noticed any major tares or damage. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for this. To me the price was perfect also.

Cheap. Seamless edges and already frayed right out of the box, also unfortunate there is no metal grommets to hang it for the price I would go with a better seller.

June 2021 and we're having the hottest weather I've experienced here in the PNW! My tomato plants receive 9-10 hours of direct sun plus reflected heat from the house. The temps have been as hot as 111F the past few days, 113F is predicted for this afternoon. The shade cloth was delivered Saturday and I immediately covered the tomato patch. Top leaves were already burnt and crispy, it's now Monday, the heat continues and no further damage has occurred. The cloth is light enough to put over the plants without supports and not crush them. I'm grateful that the plants are still alive, I don't think they would be if they weren't covered by the shade cloth.

I have a 6x6 polycarbonate greenhouse (Outsunny) and in this extreme heat it has made the temperature rise inside, not get cooler. I ended up getting one made from Aluminet, and this seems to be working better. I’ll see if I can use the black 50% shade somewhere else.

After having our huge tree trimmed way back, we no longer have shade for our dog pen to protect them from the blistering desert morning sun. I purchased this because of the price, because I figure it will get pretty beat up from the sun/wind that we have. It is working perfectly, and our dogs are happy. They only go in the pen when needed, otherwise they are out. But, now, it seems like they WANT to go in there, as it is cooler!!!

I’m sure this would be great, except I have to wait to try it, at least until I find something to secure it, the bungee balls they say were included were not in my package. So I guess we’ll have to wait & see

Used it on a gate to the heat pump. helps keep the snow down even more. Longevity we shall see about.
