I needed a desk mic set up and had a Olympus Mic that I have purchased years ago. Was thinking of purchasing a good quality USB mic but since I had a headphone/mic amplifier, I thought I make my own. I then decided to give this gooseneck a go and I'm glad I did. I purchased a wooden base from Michael's for 99cents and mounted the gooseneck to the base. Then ran the 3.5mm male to female cable through the gooseneck (though you have to cut the wire then resolder on the 3.5mm male jack). Then attached the gooseneck base to the wooden base which was stained with dark oak color. It sounds just fantastic! Gooseneck feels very premium and heavy duty, so is the base. Just like a professional podcast mic setup. I'm a happy camper at a fraction of a price of professional equipment!

Holds my sm58 without sagging.

I didn't really expect it to work with my Blue Yeti, but I figured I'd try it for the price. As expected the weight of the Yeti was just too much for it, atleast anything past around 5-15° from vertical. I can sort of make it work with just a slight angle going out and very minor adjustablility, but there's not really much more flexibility than a solid arm.That said, it can hold a surprising amount of weight for what it is, and is well built for the price, so I won't knock any stars off for not working with the Yeti, as I didn't expect it to. And even though it didn't really hold it up in the end, it failed pretty slowly and wasn't far off from holding that much weight. Just bending it by hand I thought it might just do it. It should work just fine with most mics and accessories that arn't bricks like the yeti, even fully horizontal, atleast if you don't have too many other things attatched.But for a Blue Yeti I'd recommend a solid arm option; I didn't really get any reach with it, more of an angled hanger.

I had a boom mic stand that had a broken connector piece, rendering the boom arm useless. I thought this would be a comparable replacement for a boom arm. Luckily, I had a spare On Stage MA300 5/8-Inch Male to 3/8-Inch Female Knurled 2 Piece Mic Adapter to screw onto the bottom of this gooseneck to use on my mic stand. The mic clip screws right onto the other end without an adapter. The neck is stiff enough to stay up with a mic attached to it, but flexible enough to adjust for personal preference. If anyone needs to see pics of how I set my mic stand up, I'll be happy to post them. This does exactly what I need it to do! Highly recommended!

This black gooseneck works great. It appears like it will last for many years.

Especially good at saving space. These are strong but adjustable. 19" good for allowing room for guitar.

Its a good strong extension for a microphone.

マイクの位置を自在変えれるのでいいです。ただしあまり曲げすぎるともとに戻ってしまいます。あと変換ネジが必須です。
