Dead battery.. I followed charge/discharge procedure as suggested in attached manual to no avail, the battery would not hold a charge overnight. I missed the return date because I was out of the country.Update: The supplier honored their warranty and sent me a replacement battery at no charge. This one is definitely better. Charged to 100% and turned off laptop, it's at 75% after 24hrs. Not great but it will have to do.

I followed the directions and charged to 100% and discharged to 100% 4 times and I am unable to get more than an hour of battery life. I only use computer to search the internet and email so my actual power drain is very low. I was hoping for more so I am very disappointed.

Battery works just fine. I haven't had it long, but it's much better than what I was working with. Currently getting 2.5-3 hours of usage on the battery. Not a bad things as the computer is almost 10 years old.

THE BATTERY OPERATES FINE

So far that batter has worked great for my Gateway. It is not like the original battery but does okay.

This battery is working pretty good, it works just like the old one did when I first got it. It hasn't exploded on me so that good, if it does I'll update this review.
