This book help me when I started my class in C language, as it explains better than my C language class.

This books gives an introduction to C language, all basic syntax, and some explain on things like condition, function ... etc. It's a good choice for beginner if you just want to get to know the basics to get started but that's it.There are some simple examples included but nothing like a lab or homework-style practice Q&As. I'd say this book is what you'll expect in first week of a C language class and more need to be learned in order to really start coding.

This is a self published book that supposedly teaches the C programming language. The book is very superficial and contains very little actual C code. The kindle and print versions appear to have been formatted with Microsoft Word, There are numerous formatting issues, especially within the little bits of code. Many C function names have been inappropriately capitalized, probably by auto-correct. If you tried using such code in program, it would not compile.If you know nothing about programming, or do not know any other programming language, this book will not teach you much. It certainly will not teach you how to program with C, as there is no significant explanation of programming plus there is little code in C that does anything.If you have some programming experience and you know another language, you might get a hint of information about C, but again you would be hard pressed to write a program in C.I looked at the book for possible use as a high level introduction to C in a college course. Even at the current Kindle cost of $0.00, it was not even worth the effort of using 1-click ordering.As far as many of the glowing 5 star reviews for this book, I do not know what they are talking about. This book will not help you write a web page, it will not teach you about data structures such as stacks, it does not teach C++. I could cite similar problems with many of the other 5 star reviews. I noticed that many of the 5-star reviews were done in a very short period of time. Further, looking at the other reviews done by many of these reviewers, I found that they were bulk reviewing many free, self published Kindle books in a very short period of time. Some were even reviewing the same books covering divergent subject areas. I personally question many of those reviews.

"Step by step guide" and "seven days" are just marketing--contains no actual exercises or timeline. Basically just a glossary that has been stretched to fit 100 pages. Way of explaining terms is sometimes unclear, i.e. not professionally conceived, written or edited. Lacks polish. Ultimately not worth even the short time to read, nor the low price to buy--it's not for nothing that the Kindle version is often available for free.

Very helpful and informative book for learning the basics for C Programming language. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to master this computer language. As a beginner I learned a lot about the subject. Well written by the author.
