Love it. Can use in my new model as well as my ten year old drills. Will be curious to see how well this holds up in the long run.Additional 04/07/17...used this battery several times without a problem, Used only light duty for the most part until today. Purchased a 1/2 inch impact wrench which worked great quite a few times with the original Craftsman 4.0 amp hr battery. Today for whatever reason I used this battery which had a full charge on the impact wrench. It drove down 5 bolts then the impact suddenly quit. I checked the light which showed a full charge so I put it in a regular drill, nothing. Dead as a doornail.... I installed the original Craftsman 4.0 amp hr battery pack then drove another eighteen 5 inch bolts into treated lumber without a problem. Lesson learned! You really do get what you paid for.

Great alternative to the high priced OEM
I have many of the 19.2 volt Craftsman tools. A couple of years ago I purchased a lithium battery charger and battery. They are much more dependable than the nicad packs that I had been using. The only drawback was the high cost. Around $90 for each battery. The first one failed shortly after a year, but gave good service up to that time. I had been looking for quite some time for another supplier and I can say that I am very glad that I found this one. It is a solid construction and seems to be as good or better than the OEM battery. When I received it the indicator on the battery showed 3/4 full. I placed it in the charger and charged to full. I used it on and off for about 2 hours on a project and it still showed four bars or full. I hope it holds up. Very pleased so far. Received quicker than promised.Update: I have been using now for 5 months and it is still doing a great job. The battery I purchased was the 19.2 Lithium for Craftsman. I noticed this is linked to a different battery now.

Best battery yet
I have a large collection of Craftsman cordless tools and have used NiCad and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries and still do. I recently had to replace my well used and burnt out 5 1/2" circular saw and upgraded to the 6" Craftsman. I got a small Lithium Ion battery with a charger at the same time. I got this 4 amp battery because I have learned that higher amperage batteries are critical to having the circular saw do the kind of cutting that I want to do. It is the most powerful battery in my collection and allows the saw to run better and longer and be more useful. It does this better than the older technologies because it does not lose power after charging which is important because typically I use the tools a lot at once and then maybe not again for several weeks. Having the charge level indicators is helpful in planning the work even though I have spare batteries.

Revive your old Craftsman NiCad tool kit
HIP HIP HOORAH ! ! This Lithium battery fits the 19.2 V Craftsman NiCad tools that the batteries went dead in a month just sitting in the tool chest ! Now my tools work without waiting an hour to charge the dead battery every time which defeated the convince of a battery tool and not having to bother with a cord . This is an answer to my prayers , thank God P. S. It will not charge on the old NiCad charger, best bet is to buy a tool that you need that comes with a Lithium battery and charger and have 2 batteries and a charger because the charger by itself and a battery costs as much as the tool with both included (that's what I did)

Environmental conditions
These batteries work great, they hold a charge for quite some time when not in use, they last longer. Watch where you put them, they are not waterproof, don’t use them in conditions that could get them wet. getting any amount of water inside is a death sentence.

I was a little skeptical buying a non-OEM brand battery. I must say though, this battery exceeded my expectations. I received it with 75% charge (3/4 power level). I finished fully charging it. I have a C3 cordless chainsaw, I figured this would be a true test to the capacity of the battery since they draw quite a bit of power. I was able to cut 12+ logs that were 6-8" in diameter easily, and a handful of small limbs that were about 2" in diameter, and still had between 50-75% battery remaining. While I haven't had the battery long enough to truly test long term durability, so far I'm impressed!

An absolute best buy!
Perfect replacement batteries for your Sears Craftsman 19.2 Volt tools at half the price. Be certain you are buying the Enegitech brand and that they are 4.0Ah. Others are only 3.0 or even 2.0 and don't come close in output or length of use. These even have a LED's to show battery charge strength. Again, do not waste your money on the Craftsman named batteries when you can get two of these for the price one Craftsman.

I've got the power...!
Battery works as expected. I can't directly compare this to the brand name hi-cap battery, but I can say this was last a whole lot longer than the brand name standard capacity batteries. I use this in my cordless tools and an electric weed whacker. It took two regular capacity batteries to weed whack my small yard. This battery allows me to finish the job without stopping and still shows half charge (of more) when I'm done. So glad I picked this up.
