The book is thorough and colorful. It could be improved by explaining the transition from Modernist movement, that is, Art Nouveau to Art Deco.

I bought this book because I am very interested In art from this period. The book is gorgeous and is a perfect book for my coffee table.

I purchased this for my aunt for her birthday. She’s a designer. She even gasped at how lovely it was. I almost kept it myself. Did I mention it is huge and is solid? Wow! Felt like it weighed ten pounds. Totally worth it!

This is a beautiful book. The paintings are excellently reproduced. The text is well written and interesting. I bought this as a giftFor my daughter and she loves it.

It's full of some of the best illustrations, sculptures and jewelry of the artist, all of them in full color. It's not an comprehensive book of the work of Erte, but the selection (and the quality) of the prints and the interesting information of his life, makes this book a great acquisition.

book is marvelous. It covers the many faces of Erté from fashion to theater. It gives a very good idea about this artist and his time.
