Q: What color is the "double tap"? It’s pretty much appears to be black….is that true?

Yes it is black. I have had this bag for almost year and it is the best quality bag i have owned. I do recommend the bag.

Q: Does the 37 liter backpack and a spot to put a water bottle?

No it does not. I recommend a pouch to put on the outside to hold the bottle. Especially 32oz or bigger. 5.11 and Condor both make great bottle carrying pouches.

Q: I have a dell inspiron 5577 which spans 15.5x10.43x0.99 . I do have a case that holds the computer which i think totals to around 16-17, will it fit?

It will fit but if you are someone who needs easy access to the computer the computer pocket is not like most backpacks the storage area is more inside the bag

Q: On the medium 37 liter size, do the side pockets have enough room for a 32oz hydro flask?

Should hold a 32 oz 9.5 x 3.5 flask but will be tight if pack is full. For accessibility, I prefer to attach to pack in its own carrier with molle strap.
