Built Like A Tank, Plus Nice-Looking
This mount is built like a tank, works great, and as an added bonus gets great marks for fit and finish. I used this to mount a 19" Vizio to the basement rafters to have a TV in front of exercise equipment, and it's perfect. To answer an oft-asked question: yes, the decorative round, black caps can be removed to adjust the tension on the vertical arm so it can hold the TV at whatever angle you need. If you're happy with just having it at 0° or 90°, you can loosen the tension to make it easy to flip up and down. If you want to hold the TV at any given random angle, just increase the tension until you strike the right balance between ease of flipping and holding power. It's simple to do. The latching mechanism is simple, solid, and reliable. My only complaint is that it can only rotate 90°, but that's clearly stated in the description so it's not a complaint so much as a wish-list item. The mount comes with all necessary hardware: beefy mounting bolts and washers, nylon anchors, screws to mount to TV, allen wrenches, etc. The instructions are "Ikea" or "Lego" style: pictures but no words. Overall, this is a really nice product at any price; the fact it's so low-priced makes it an awesome value!

Perfect for under cabinet in RV
Bought this for my used RV that did not have an existing mount. I was looking for a mount on the wall by my table but nothing seemed to work as the brackets were too big. I opted for the under cabinet mount and I am really glad I did. After reviewing the reviews I purchased the VIVO mount, it was simple to install. Drilled a couple of holes and put screws through cabinet. The ones that came with the mount were too big so a quick trip to HD where I bought screws, nuts, washers. This bracket is super secure, best part when I mounted my tv was if folded up perfectly up into shelf, this is a big plus when traveling. The nuts are tightened by an Allen wrench and all seemed to work perfect. Only beef is it would be nice to move motion to left or the right to help with that view. You have flex up and down and angle which works for me. Better than I expected and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great undercounter tv mount. Even better for an RV!!!!

Good, solid mount. Worthless instructions.
As others have noted, the instructions are useless. Small pictures with arrows; no text. If you're pretty good at figuring things out, you'll be OK. Don't expect any help from the documentation. The mount itself feels solid, is completely adjustable if you can find all the adjustment places. Be sure to loosen the side-to-side swivel bolts before you mount it or you'll have to take it down. The mounting screws provided are large wood screws. If you're mounting under a cabinet, you'll need to get your own. I used carriage bolts. Once the TV is mounted, it won't hang down properly until you adjust the tension on the vertical rod. Do this by prying off the round caps on the top hinge and tightening with the Allen wrench. This is not shown at all in the instructions. The vertical rod was too long for the TV, it hit the power plug. I was able to cut 2 inches off the rod and reassemble it so the TV would hang the way I wanted it to. Overall, I'm pleased with the mount. It holds a 24" TV under the kitchen cabinets, and allows all the wiring to be stuffed behind the TV so the counter top is clean.

Just as Good as Advertised.
I just received this today and it is a very well built unit. I read all of the bad reviews and have no idea what folks want for $30.00. The only thing lacking is maybe the tools but that is with anything. I have my own tools so installation was a breeze. It says not to exceed 44 lbs. but this thing could hold anything you put on it. The ceiling would fail before this would. I bought it because I bought a very small TV and don't need a mount that will adjust to a 55" TV. Someone said that it would not hold the TV folded up but it works exactly the way it was designed for a very reasonable price.

Just what I needed for a small TV with my stairmaster in the garage.
Needed a TV mount that wouldn’t get in the way of my storage in the garage and can be attached to the ceiling. Works great.

Well made, well engineered and sturdy
This mount was used to hang a 19" TV from under a kitchen cabinet and serves that requirement well. My installation was complicated by an under cabinet lighting installation that used up valuable mounting space. This required me to substantially modify the mount for my own space. The light prevented folding up the TV flush under the cabinet so I removed the latch from and shortening the vertical aluminum extrusion. The size of the mounting plate and attached arm needed to be shortened to allow mounting the TV at a suitable location relative to the front of the cabinet and to clear the light when rotated. All in all, I spent a lot of time modifying this mount to accommodate the peculiarities of my installation but it was worth the effort. Without the under cabinet lighting this would have been a snap to install. The TV rotates smoothly and the angle of the face can be adjusted easily. I purchased 1/4-28 flat head screws to attach the mounting plate to the cabinet bottom and it is very sturdy. Good materials used throughout so I expect this to last as long as the TV. Recommended.
