Fan and cooler in one
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great purchase for the warmer weather. You can use it as a fan alone, without entering any water, or as a water evaporator which sucks in the warm air and returns a cool fresh breeze. You can add the frozen water packs or ice into the water compartment if you want even colder air. I find this would be quite useful if you want to cool your room down before bedtime. The product is lightweight, feels safe with its bladeless design. The remote control is perfect as I can use the fan from my bed at night! There are just the right number of modes and it’s easy to use. The only thing to mention is that it’s not possible to turn off the led lights on the panel, so if you are using it at night, you do see a blue halo on your ceiling. You might want to put something on top if that is distracting for you. In terms of noise, it’s a fan so you will expect to hear a noise but it’s nothing you can’t sleep through and it’s certainly not loud. When using the cooler, you may hear some water noises but it’s actually quite relaxing. Note that this higher wattage fan has a black panel on top and the ring in front is also black. They also do a lower wattage, slighter smaller version and that is white on top and has a blue ring in front.

This air cooler isn’t an air conditioner.
Not a great product to be honest. Bought this to cool my 6 month olds bedroom ahead of evening feeds (3m by 4m, with low ceilings). On full whack with one of the ice blocks for 2 hours, temperature lowered by .8 of a degree and then started going back up.Lowest fan speed is louder then a basic fan... there’s a possibility it would be more affective if I loaded the tank with store bought Ice cubes but that’s daft for a 150£ product. Not worth 20£ IMO, the price of a basic fan from the supermarket. Also, as a sound engineer, at its quietest it is not 20db in volume. It’s louder then our tower fan. I guess there is only one air conditioning unit as the heat has to go somewhere. Also, I suspect the pump in the water generates heat that warms the tank up.

Looks great works well very wonderful not too noisy either
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great looking unit, fairly heavy doesn’t feel cheap. It has good ranges of variable speed and can also be set to a quieter mode - see video - you can press a remote button to work everything from timer, speed, rotate etc….note: the rotation is hard to see in the video but the black rim circle slowly moves so the whole room gets the air circulated. It is easy to fill the water container which also comes with 2 freezer blocks which you pop inside to make the water super cold. In our lounge we needed a bigger unit as it’s south facing and it gets boiling hot but this has really worked well. It looks very nice without fan blades! Stylish and expensive. Works perfectly we are very happy with this fan. Doesn’t bother us having it by the tv it’s not loud. 9d absolutely recommend this as a good priced smart air conditioner which would easily work in a bigger area if needed! Love it so happy we got this dogs are happier too x thanks

Blade less tower fan.
I love spending relaxing time in my conservatorium but on summer temperature can heat up and needed air cooler. Bought this air cooler for conservatory.Quite nice blade less tower fun and same time air cooler. It has a tray on bottom back where can be placed cold ice or pre cooled container. Pre culled containers supplied in box.Love the part that it hasn’t got propellers , so quite safe around the house, no rotating blades. It came with remote control which helps operate the unit without going to it.It has swing function which blows cold air around the room and helps air circulation. It also has timer and three speeds, ideal to adjust to my needs.Overall quite powerful air cooler which helps bring room temperature down on hot days and can enjoy spending time in my conservatorium. So far quite happy with it’s performance.

Works better than a normal fan?
Very light weight and slim design fits perfectly beside the desk. The concept is great and works better than a traditional fan.Only problem is the tank should of been them thermal insulated ones so it would last longer and keep the ice frozen for longer when not in use.Overall its a cheap alternative to a ac

Not an air conditioner!
This will not make your room cooler - at best it's a ruddy great fan with a humidifier function. During the heatwave of July 2021 I ran this for a couple of hours with the cool packs and water and it didn't make any difference at all to the room temperature which stuck at 29 degrees, but did raise the humidity of the room from 44percent to 60percent - running this for any length of time will make everything damp, and increase the chances of your room getting mouldy.Filling the water reservoir is very fiddly as you have to disconnect the pump from the plastic water container - the pump and wiring just isn't long enough so you end up having to try to reconnect the pump to the container with it half-hanging out of the back of the machine while it's full of water. As just a fan it works well, but it's loud, and the 40degree 'swing' function is barely noticeable.Maybe at £50 you could make a case for it, but at £120/£140, no, it's just too expensive with too many disadvantages.

Moldy/sewage smell -
From day 1, the minute I’ve put clean cold water in it, after one use it absolutely stinks of sewage/Mold.I clean out the bucket after every single use, no change, the second I try use water and an ice pack again. Within being turned on and on the “cool” feature for less than an hour, the water turns brown and stinks the house out like a swamp.Definitely must be a fault with it considering the water is CLEAN going in.. even tried bottled water to make sure there was no bacteria in my tap water causing it.. no matter how often it’s cleaned or how clean the water is going in. The second I use it, the water goes brown and stinks.
