I bought this tumbler to replace my broken daily user (which was plastic) I chose this because it was 18/10 unlike the competitors 18/8. They all have the same basic design so I would imagine performance would be comparable.I will talk about the included handle first. IF you invert the tumbler and push it on (not too forcibly) I had no problems with it staying in place for me unlike some other reviewers mentioned. I did opt for another handle in a different color so there wouldn’t be any confusion as to which one was mine. I have to say this other handle fit much better than the one this tumbler came with, so for that reason alone I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5.Now for performance. It’s been rather cold out so not the best time to test with ice and since other reviewers already did I’ll move on to the warm side. As for hot coffee, I drink mine black and I can’t tolerate it super hot so when I have my morning fix next to me it had a tendency to get too cool to drink relatively fast. Not so with this, it stays warm until I finish my last sip.I’m not crazy about the lid being open but it seems to be standard on all of these including the top dollar ones. There are a lot of sliding and flip up lids available at low enough prices that if it’s a major concern it can easily be replaced.All in all I do recommend this product for value and performance.

First, let me say that this cup is well made, and the handle and lid are very nice. The problem is that is does not, let me emphasize that, it does NOT keep liquids cold or hot as advertised. I put this cup empty, in the freezer (!), overnight, put a cold drink in it, and within one hour it is room temperature! I am very disappointed with the cup in that regard. Same with a hot beverage. I run our boiling hot water dispenser in it before adding hot soup, and within an hour, it is luke warm. I would not recommend this mug unless you are buying it for the large size, which is nice. It also fits in the cup holder in the car, with the handle attached. If you are looking for a stainless cup or thermos that truly keeps beverages hot and cold for many hours, buy the brand "Nissan" here on Amazon. I have 3 of those and they are fantastic! I put a cold drink in one about 6pm, and the next morning when I get up the drink is still cold, now that's a high performing cup! Sorry I could not give this item a better review, but I am very disappointed with it. I'm not going to return it, but I cannot recommend this brand as it is sorely lacking with regard to insulating hot or cold.

I absolutely recommend this superb tumbler to anyone who appreciates quality, functionality and convenience. I was anxiously expecting for it since my tumbler broke a couple of weeks ago due to a weak plastic piece that was attached to its base (bad design). I purchased this because of its stainless steel construction. I look for durability and quality in products and quite frankly I had it with plastic or ceramic cups or tumblers they just break. But, this tumbler will be my faithful companion for those rough mornings.One of the greatest things about it, is that since it can hold up to 30 ounces I don,t have to reload my coffee for hours. I can stay at my desk being productive, stay focused and most of all satisfied.I even plan on personalizing my tumbler using acid etching to make it even more AWESOME!Thank you!

Just bought this tumbler and used this morning for coffee. 5 hrs. later the coffee was just slightly warm. I was hoping that it would stay hot longer like the Starbucks one I have. Also, does not have a closure to prevent spills - I do not like this. The handle slides off - does not have a mechanism to hold it in place when using the tumbler - wish it did. I do not think I would buy brand again. The Starbuck's one I have is still the best.

My fiancé almost bought the name brand one and I'm glad he didn't! Let's just say he loves this tumbler so much! He's a cable guy and works outside and his office is his van so especially in this heat here in Florida this tumbler is just great for him.. He uses it without ice and he said that even without ice his drink stays cold all day long. People can get so caught up on the name brand To me this tumbler works about the same or even better. And it comes with the holder which is a plus! Overall great quality tumbler definitely worth the money!

I've been on a mission this fall to get a boat load (well, at least 20) and whenever I see a 30 oz tumbler at a reasonable price I pounce. Budget and/or finding them on ab associated discount site prevents me from buying them all at once. I've gotten several different brands over the last few month and while some vary about how many hrs things stay hot or cold, they have all stayed cold longer than 24 hours and hot 4-6 hrs.This one is no exception.So 5 stars. Everyone on my Christmas list is going to love these.

Have this as a Christmas gift. New owner uses it all the time, the only two complaints were that he wished the mouth opening had a lid of some sort to prevent spill when you walk. And second thing was the it kept cold drinks at the right temperature much longer than it keeps his coffee hot.

This is not a good hot drink travel mug. It's great for cold drinks in that it keeps the drink cold for literally hours if you pre-cool the mug. There's a design flaw though. The handle, which is moveable, frequently slides down and/or around so you need to be careful when using it. There are far better travel mugs available but this is great for keeping drinks cold.
