I was looking for a lamp that I didn't have to leave plugged so that I could move it around my desk as needed. I got the purple one and I like the color as well it gives off pretty decent light. I have always wanted a bubble lamp so the fact that it looks cool is also part of why I chose to buy it. It comes with a charger, you plug it in, it charges, etc etc pretty standard. When it needs to be recharged it starts getting dimmer. I use it mostly as an additional light source, so it on full brightness is much more useful to me. It is super neat looking and I am honestly thinking about ordering a green one later.

Just received this lamp today. We were excited to get it after waiting almost a month. I see from the other reviews that I am not the only person confused by the lack of a dimmer control when this was clearly advertised as having a " dimmer function". Maybe they just mean it gets dim as it starts to need a charge?And you have to lay it on its side to charge so it doesn't fall over. It arrived fully charged, however.It is a solid, heavy design, which I like, because it will be used on top of the piano in a busy restaurant. It's for my husband, so I will wait for his assessment before we decide to keep it.

It doesn't sit flat because of where the plug is on the bottom. There was no way to tell that from the picture online. Would most likely not reorder.

How do you DIM this light? Mine just has 1 button on the bottom for on/off. Not sure how to "dim" the light.Ideas??

So great! I needed a light for a dark corner that didn't have an outlet and this is awesome! Heavy, violet and held charge for 8 hours.Pretty bright too, great purple color. Again, kinda heavy but really cute. A little expensive but definitely a quality item so far.
