Using these mats to keep my cats away from certain areas. Much more effective than tinfoil and no batteries required. 😻

Fits great. Keeps my cat off the counter. They inter lock with each other or you can lay them over each other too for a tighter space rather then cutting them. I thought my cat would try and move them, but thankfully he leaves them alone. His feet are to big to fit in the holes. Would definitely buy again.

Great for detouring cats from sitting on my furniture

My daughter bought some of these for her cats and they worked great. I thought they might work to keep the groundhogs away from my plants outside. They didn't work, but they were not meant for groundhogs!

I wanted to stop the dogs and cats from digging. The cats like laying on top of them and the dogs think they’re a chew toy. I think with normal animals they would work.

The panel size was easy to use. They snap together (and can be separated) pretty easily, unless you are arthritic or have another issue using your hands/fingers--no problem, I tried just overlapping the edges on some of them, mostly at odd angles (because whose garden is square with perfectly spaced/sized plants?), and they stayed together just fine. They are kind of light, maybe they could blow around if in an exposed area, and some people mention animals moving them--anchor them with landscape staples, stakes, or one of the supports holding up the ring around your top heavy peonies. I also tried putting some in upside down and gently wiggling the tines into the mulch. The cats may walk on that, but they can't dig through it. My advice to anyone that is still having trouble with cats using the bathroom on these or trying to pull them up or out of the way: they probably don't have anywhere else to go--try providing a better spot for them and you. Also, they're not super flexible nor do they seem incredibly sturdy (don't walk on them!) If you need to keep cats out of mulch and don't want to see these things, or have a large area to cover, I've had success laying down inexpensive 2 inch chicken wire and covering it with a VERY thin layer of mulch. Between these two solutions, the two outdoor cats we have (and their friends from next door) no longer attempt to use the flower beds as a lavatory.

I have tried everything that Amazon has to deter cats. Also tried shaved soap, cayenne pepper and you name it. This finally kept the neighborhood cat from spaying my plants.Make sure to make them layout with no gaps.Thank you!

These work well and do what they are intended to do. They are very light weight plastic and I feel they are over priced for what they are. I would purchase again if they price were probably about 30% less.
