Beautiful chairs however the back piece that the seat rest on was put together incorrectly have to remove the piece unscrew it somehow pry the glue off and put it in the correct place also one of the screws to secure the seat when screwing it in just cracked the wood my husband will be able to fix both issues however it is a beautiful chair.

The quality is fair only. There are random paint spots and poor finishing. On one of the two chairs, one attachment hole was drilled off center, so the screw would not line up. Luckily my husband is handy, so he created a custom dowel, filled in the old hole and drilled another hole in the correct location. Anyone not handy and without the right tools would have had to return the chair as defective.

In the final analysis, these chairs are nice and worth the money. I would have liked if they had a more polished appearance as there is a lack of attention to detail and you can tell the manufacturer was just after the biggest and quickest buck they could get. They are sturdy enough, I think they will last a few winters of the PNW rain, and they will be very comfortable with a seat cushion, not included. I really did not like the white wash finish. It did look like what white wash usually looks like, but I really didn't like it. I decided to paint them with exterior white paint and peculiarly, they needed at least two coats. We also spray painted the hardware with a white rust o leom product to protect against rust. The low table or bench is strong enough to support at least one person. I will be using it as a table.Update: The chairs have been outdoors now for 4 months. They look awful. Mostly, it's still the finish that looks bad, but the wood is also splintering in places. The "white wash" is blackening. I will be spray painting them both. I had only gotten one painted previously, but there isn't a lot of difference between them. It seems the paint just doesn't soak in to this wood. Painting was a BIT**. I'm hoping spray painting goes more easily.

I wouldn’t spend more than $200 for the pair. The assembly instructions are confusing. Once I got the first one together, the second one went much faster. They are lacking in quality. The paint finish isn’t even and the glued in finishing slats are poorly cut and affixed. They are serviceable but not comfortable. Added seat cushions.

Unbelievable poor quality finish. Extremely disappointed. Not only is it a dirty yellow wash the finish is not sealed for outdoor use. I will have to paint and seal it myself. Where was quality control? I could have bought used at a yard sale for less and paint.

Love the quality and they look beautiful on my porch.
