Ahi USA 50 Outfitter Series Monofilament Cast Net, Clear, 3-Feet, Multi, One Size

As we get older (like me), we have a hard time throwing the larger cast nets to catch our bait. These 3' cast nets are easier to throw. I hope this company continues to make this size.

Perfect. Well made. Bought this for our 8 yr old granddaughter. Little fisherman. Took that cast net and immediately caught plenty fish bait.

This is a great product for the price, for starters its hard to find 3 foot net locally and I'm to short to throw any larger so for me this is good. I use this over the weekend and was surprised I wasn't expecting much but I got a bargain. The only complaint is the slip ring at the top of net is only plastic and seem kinda flimsy so im worried about the longevity of this unit I feel it wont last long. The weight is more than what I have seen on other nets so once it hit the water it takes no time to sink There is also a plus and that's the small plastic box it comes in that is great for small tackle as well. So I had not problems with it and it save me money buying bait..

When you spread this net out on the ground it only opens to about four and a half feet in diameter, not six. This is common for cheap nets.The weights are plastic-coated steel, except two near the knot in the line are real lead. With more and more data coming out on lead toxicity I might even prefer if they were all plastic-coated steel.This is a fine net for teaching young kids to throw, but there are better options for the price.

I bought this to catch little fish at the beach for the kids. I wanted a smaller casting net rather than a big one used for shrimping. This one is easy for me to manage and works great! Comes in a compact box for storage. We caught lots of little fish in the surf.
