Platypus Water Tank

My review of the Playtpus Platy water tank, it's also on youtube [...] To tell you the truth, it fell short of the price tag, since it wouldn't close properly. However it worked great as a $35 bucket.

Not sure what all the hype is about the zip lock staying shut is.... I did close it with all the reviews about the zip lock in mind, and did make an effort to confirm it was s*** , but had no problem with it sealing. Do back paddling in kayaks and something used only at camp to store filtered water, which this tank is prefect for. Besides with the 6L tank who is going to fill it up and backpack it over hill and dell ?

Fill up the tank and the zip lock top won't stay closed. All the water spills out.

I bought the 6L storage tank as an addition to our 3L hydration bladders. It's great for lugging water to camp and we use it as the "dirty" reservior with the gravity filter to fill both our hydration bladders in one go, or to filter extra water into the Platy bottles for hard hike days, friends and cooking. We're planning to buy another 6L so we can have a large "clean bag" at camp as well.
