I'm going to be honest. I've used shredders for quite a number of years. My last one worked, but I overloaded it. (Completely different brand, bought it from Walmart) I unboxed this one, brand new, out of the box, still wrapped, no visible indicators of any flaws, issues, or refurbishments.The second I plugged it in, (Yes, read all paperwork - there wasn't much) and tried it with a single sheet of paper, two sheets of paper, a think cardboard piece, a full 4 paper thick envelope, a credit card, and nothing.Tried 5 different outlets, different other papers, and just about anything I could think of to get it to work. Nothing.I've ordered tons of stuff from Ebay and Amazon, and perhaps is the day my luck catches up to me, but never before have I ever ordered anything that was DOA... Until today.I'm not going to say don't buy it. Just going to say that my received device was DOA. I'm putting in an RMA now. (15 mins from unboxing)

This is one of the best shredders I have ever bought. We use the shredded paper in compost or worm bin. Also will shred cd and credit cards, has a special place to shred them on the top.

Darn thing is top heavy... dumps over at the slightest nudge. I thought I wanted a compact unit... but it doesn’t hold much. If you don’t empty it after a few pages it backs up. Prob okay if you just shred the mail snd empty it after each use. Update 6/18. I REALLY hate it. Even as a compact unit it should be stable and not dump over with use.

Lightweight. Easy to assemble and operate.

Just am using this printer. Disappointed- all my other shredders did better job in shredding paper. This model just shreds in long strips- not gd to use in packing like bubble usage. Other cheaper models did a better job.

This one takes FOREVER to shred papers. I would have spent more to move faster. I thought about returning it; but seems like too much effort to bother. Just shred as I go instead of letting it pile up all week.

Jams easily. Hard to clear all the little pieces that get stuck. Haven’t had it that long and already having issues. I’m still trying to love it
