I was in my yard today and while looking at my pergola saw my string of lights and it occurred to me I have had these 100 bulbs for 5 years now and maybe replaced 3 bulbs. I live in Buffalo NY, these bulbs have been through snow, ice and extreme temperatures since 2017 and they are still going strong. I am just amazed.

Great outdoor lights.Best bargain on Amazon for this style of string light and they really look great. Has 6 extra spare bulbs - that is more than the other guys and a 13 ft outdoor 2 prong extension cord that nobody else includes. And you will need an extension cord. The plug on the light string is about 8 inches from the first light socket. I looked at other vendors lights and from the Amazon pictures they all look the same. These Fulton guys just give you more stuff at a cheaper price. The included extension cord was a super bonus as I couldn't find a outdoor 2 prong cord locally. I'm using a manual Lutron dimmer that blocks you from using a 3 prong cord and have the WOODS remote on/off switch and that accepts a 3 prong cord going to the wall socket. I also bought a small Sock-it water tight box to put the remote and dimmer in. If you use both, get the medium box, everything fit in the small but it was really tight - too tight I think. For only the remote or only the dimmer the medium box was more than adequateFor great ideas on how to mount them in your yard read the reviews with pictures for these and the other vendors. I have mine on a metal patio cover and used 1" square peel and stick cable hangers with cable ties. I placed them about every 1 to 1.5 feet and I probably didn't need to use that many. I wiped the mounting surface with an alcohol soaked rag before placing the cable hangers. I didn't want to drill holes in the patio cover for eye-bolts and cable. I recommend to hang the string before you screw the bulbs in to prevent breakage. The entire string is heavy duty and heavy in weight. Don't skimp on whatever mounting method you choose. Once you get them up you should be happy, I am very pleased with them. I don't know how Fulton customer service is as I had zero problems for the week they have been up.

These lights showed up exactly as pictured and were more affordable than others I saw of a similar style. I actually purchased these to use them as an alternative to the fluorescent bulbs in my apartment. It ended up being 100 lights over a stretch of 100’ and came with 20 replacement bulbs. The bulbs are extremely fragile but they were packaged well and none of them were broken on delivery. I did end up dropping two seperate ones on the ground and they shattered so don’t drag these things across the concrete or anything. They’re bright enough to light up my room but not so bright that they hurt my eyes like my obnoxious fluorescents. The 100’ was enough to go back and forth across my entire living room ceiling enough times to illuminate the entire space. It doesn’t have a switch, just a plug. I remedied having to always unplug it from the corner every time I want to turn it off by buying a smart plug that’s connected to my Echo. I’d highly recommend this item to anyone thinking about buying globe string lights.

We just came back from a week long camping trip, using these beautiful lights around our canopy that housed our camp kitchen for the week! We loved them! They take a little while to set up having to screw the glass lights in and take them out when we packed up, but the warmth of the atmosphere made our area so welcoming we sat at our picnic table more than at our camp fire and I like camp fires!My husband even invented a little tool to take the zip ties out easily so they can be reused many times.We are pondering a way and a place to hang them out in our back yard now that we're home. The extra bulbs that are included in the package are a blessing and the enclosed info where to order more lights if needed is helpful. We also appreciate the matching extension cord.These lights made finding our way back to our tent in the night easy.A great product and we are pleased with our purchase!

Put up one 100 ft string then I put all the light bulbs in each socket. Just did this. Plugged up lights and it did not work. So I checked each of the 48 lights to see if I screwed the lights in correctly. I did. Still did not work. I spent 3 hours doing this in the hot sun. So I got my wife to help me take the strand down and put a new strand up. She tried one bulb in the new strand and it worked. So we put the new strand up and used the bulbs from the non working strand. They all lit up. I bought the strands and bulbs in March but did not get them plugged up until today,,,,,guess what I can’t return broken strand.....waited too late. If you buy this, plug in one bulb, hook up strand to see if it works. I bought early so I would have everything I needed to make my pool area look nice when I decided to fix the area up.

Good, but could be better. So they give you plenty of length, plenty of light fixtures and its double ended so you can add another strand or whatever to it.However, I had a few problems with the socket itself, not the bulb. The metal tabs inside did not make good contact with a few bulbs and I had to use a pick to pull them out a bit. Seems to be working well, but the bulb position is a bit touchy on those sockets and I need to rotate it in just far enough where the light turns on, and then stop. If not, it will shut off and I need to use the pick to pull the metal tabs out again.Other than that, they supply plenty of extra bulbs and it really adds a beautiful ambiance. Dimmer switch works. I did not need all 50ft and wound up cutting about 15ft off and capping the ends. I could probably use the rest of the lights else where.
