Vow of Deception: Deception Trilogy, Book 1

I don’t even know what to say, Adrian’s and Lia’s story has intrigued me since the previous books, but this wasn’t what I expected, this story surprised me a lot, it has so much mystery and suspense that you don’t understand a thing about what you are reading when you think you are starting to figure out what is going on something threw you off and proves you don’t actually know this book is one of those where you can not stop reading because you want to know what the hell is happening, I am greatly impressed and surprised with this because I loved how different this story is from the previous ones, and that end like wtf!!!! Thank god I am reading this while Rina has finished the whole universe because the cliffhanger at the end would have killed me otherwise, I completely recommend this book and can not wait to to know what is happening and why because this book leaves you with more questions than answers.

A twist you never expected with a sole minded purpose. This book is absolutely beyond crazy good. I loved the twists and turns to only bring you back to a truth you never expected.

He’s so into it, like he’s attempting to lure something out of me by using my mouth.I’m so in tune with him that my body feels like it’s fusing with his.”This entire trilogy is, simply put, a masterpiece. I loved every word, every chapter, every second of reading. At this point I’ve reread about 15 times and listened to the audiobooks too many times to count.Adrian Volkov is just, WOW. So dark and twisted and stunning. I adore him. He is a villain through and through, and he is still my dream man. I am obsessed and in love with this wonderful Russian.Winter/Lia is such an amazing heroine, she has clearly gone through so much and I just adore the way she fights for herself and for her identity in this book, all the while falling for her villain.Jeremy Volkov, the sweetest little boy! I loved every single scene that included this sweet angel. He was perfect and my heart broke for him at the beginning when he was angry because his mother left him. His little dances and relationship with Winter/Lia made my heart so happy and I enjoyed seeing their mother-son bond and how happy they were together.The plot was amazing and this is for sure my favorite book in the trilogy! After reading the second and third books then coming back to reading the first book after having all the answers, the experience is completely different and it feels like you’re reading an entirely new book! I love that. I will never grow tired or rereading/relistening to the audiobook. The audio narration was so perfect!! Definitely my favorite audio performance yet!The ending of this book seriously, no joke, made me cry in the middle of my living room. I was just so shocked and it was so unexpected I couldn’t even breathe. Rina is a masterpiece and I adore her writing.

Boy coerces girl into taking the place of his dead wife. Boy *WHIPS* girl anytime she has a single thought or opinion of her own. Girl begs him to stop but also says she likes it I guess? He does take care of her afterward so he gets at least one point for that?? Overall kind of boring with a predictable plot twist

The ‘Visuals’ in every aspect of this book were so vivid to me.This is definitely one of Rina Kent’s Best works, and having these two narrating together is/was sincerely a great decision, I am so excited to hear them Narrate the Next Two books.I will definitely and most happily be listening to this particular Audiobook over and over again.

Wow this book has me in so many emotions. The mystery is interesting. I’ve been wanting to read a new mafia book and this one was the one! Can’t wait for the second book. Who’s who?

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ When I say that I had dreams about this book I mean like vivid dreams! Rina Kent took me on a roller coaster ride I had my mind blown over and over again. I will say this is a good beginner book for dark romance and if you’re questioning if you should read this all I can tell you is do it!

This books is fascinating. Keeps me in my toes! It lures you deep into it's labyrinth. Can't wait to read the next one!

Wer Plottwistes liebt sollte dieses Buch unbedingt lesen. Es ist sehr verwirrend ,aber definitiv wert es zu lesen. Ich musste danach direkt den Rest der Trilogie kaufen. Ich liebe die Charaktere und die Story. Das Ende.. Wow.

I am beyond words to describe how amazing this book is! I know our Rina Kent always delivers great stories but this one is pure sensational and it’s only the beginning of the ride.We met Lia and Adrian in Throne Duet and you won’t let me lie that they picked your interest - a silent but deadly Adrian and his mysterious wife Lia.After reading the prequel I was so lost with theories about Winter and Lia, trust me, you don’t know what is about to hit you in this story so be ready.I enjoyed Winter so much! She had a backbone and wouldn’t go without a fight. She is still a mystery though. We've gotten slight parts of her past that give you the clear message that she didn’t have it easy but it wasn’t shown in detail so we have to wait a little more to know her completely. To know what she remembers is true or if her mind playing her tricks.Adrian, though. Let me warn you that you may not be ready for this fine man. I wasn’t. I can’t decide which Rina’s villains I want them to kidnap me but right now, Adrian is leading the list, lol.What I really love about him was his devotion to his wife and he will do anything to bring her out. His past, how he met Lia, and other certain thing is still a mystery that I can’t wait to read!
