Deckle Edge Ruler, 30 cm

I was looking for a metal version of a deckle edge ruler/paper trimmer, however, like many I couldn't find one. I was reluctant to buy the plastic We R Memory Keepers set of 3 because I knew I only wanted one specific size and edge. When I finally came across this one, I was excited, especially since the price was so reasonable. It has great weight, so it's not flimsy and won't easily break. I do find that I have to tear slowly and the bigger side isn't easier. I still believe a metal version would give a much cleaner tear/edge, but this does the trick. I'd recommend it for any crafter, but definitely go slow when tearing. Some have recommended using a dab of water on the paper to assist in tearing, but that is not very practical with all paper/mediums. This is a very good option! I only took off a star because it doesn't cut as clean as a metal version.

The description of this product clearly says it is a metal decker edge ruler. It isn't metal. It's thick plastic. Does not work great, but I don't plan to go to the hassle if returning it. Paid 10 dollars. For about 20 I could have bought the memory keepers set of three plastic ones, if I wanted plastic
