top of the line price, bottom of the barrel quality pure 3k carbon purchased
I purchased this as it was stated to be the best, lightest paddle. I have an aqua bound challenger 85 paddle which is supposed to be an ounce or 2 heavier than this paddle, well this paddle is definitely a good deal heavier than my aqua bound. It is nowhere near the weight that is stated. The blade on this paddle feels more like cheap plastic than carbon fiber. I purchased the full 3k carbon fiber paddle, so the blade is supposed to be carbon fiber also, definitely does not look or feel that way. the scratches show pure white and no weaving. Pure carbon fiber in 3k is a weave design with the fibers, so I would not think that under the weave would be pure white plastic. The balance is pretty off also, the blade has probably 75% of the paddles weight. With my aqua bound I can put a finger in almost the middle and carry it perfectly balanced, this paddle is just wonky. Also a big issue is they must have some horrible quality control as the blade to my paddle came in very scratched up. I was excited to find a light performance 3 piece paddle to bring with my inflatable backpacking, but after this experience, I learned not to buy from these off brand manufacturers making claims that sound too good to be true. Please do not make the same mistake I did, buy a quality name brand paddle. You my spend a little more, but the quality is ages beyond.

Great price,great value
I have several paddle board rental businesses in Mexico and finding a paddle that is sturdy enough for rental business and yet still performs at a high level is always our main challenge. We keep extra paddles on hand with extra parts for repair but they get damaged so often that it's hard to keep up with the attrition. I recently brought the 3-piece Abahub carbon fiber paddle with me to Mexico and have found it to be the best value paddle we have had to date and will be using this paddle from here on for our fleet. The 3-piece is surprisingly sturdy as is but for insurance we have wrapped each connection with black waterproof tape to improve strength. Michael in customer service at Abahub was kind enough to help us with his recommendations on maintaining the paddles even through their own issues with Coronavirus. In the future we will probably order the 2-piece paddle but do not be afraid of the 3-piece if you are limited by travel restrictions. Note the picture where we have used the silicone tape on 3 critical areas. We feel this will reduce impact from salt water and add some structural strength. Always be sure to rinse paddle with fresh water after each days use. We also keep extra stainless steel spring pins on hand as they tend to wear out after a couple of years.

A 20.5 oz. paddle in this price range is a steal !
I have used it about 10 times so far . Good quality construction as far as I can see. I go alot so we will see how it holds up ,but seems awesome . I have several paddles , a couple of 1 piece carbons and some mix of 2 pieces and so far this is my new favorite . Nice bag for transport . Easy assembly . I think I might by a backup at this price with a 20% off coupon only paid $ 130 delivered !Update : Well I have been using this as my main paddle for about the last 30 times out .I usually go at it pretty hard for about 2 to 3 hrs. per session 4 or 5 times a week . I disassemble it each time and return it to the case after wiping it down as suggested . I love this paddle . The blade area is smaller than my other paddles at only 85 but it has performed perfectly . No signs of wear and the the integrity is the same as the first time I took it out . I have read other people complain about poor quality , but not on the one I received . I am waiting for them to go on sale again to buy another . Still at $150 bucks this is still the best deal I have found on a lightweight paddle . I highly recommend . I have paddles I have spent 3 times the money on and I still use this one .

I couldn't be more stoked on this paddle.
This is the 3rd paddle I've tried since I got into this last year (I've been going a ton. like 2-3 times a week, 4-7 miles / paddle) and all the problems I had with the other paddles I bought previously are totally solved with this one.I love the 3-part design because it fits in my inflatable sup bag (2-part paddles do not). It's super light which is great, and I like the shape of the paddle face itself and the grip of the handle is comfy. Most importantly, it's really strong. I love the carbon fiber shaft and the quality of the mechanical assembly. I'm a big guy and generally paddle pretty hard, so I need a paddle that doesn't bend or deform. My last two paddles both started bending at the point where the parts connect (one of them eventually snapped), and the bending, even when it was small, made it really difficult to slide the shaft parts up/down. Not only did that make it so I couldn't disassemble it completely and thus couldn't fit it in my bag, but I also couldn't adjust the paddle length while paddling. With the Abahub, adjusting the length is super smooth and quick (I don't even have to look), so when I need to drop down onto my knees in some heavy wind or something, I can slide it down into the shorter length in one quick motion.Very cool that they include the paddle bag for free, too.

High price bad quality. Fills with water and becomes super heavy. Look elsewhere
The media could not be loaded. I got this paddle and loved it initially because it is super light and the grip is comfortable .. But after the first use and the consecutive 3 uses it fills with water and becomes super heavy... Every 15 minutes I have to dismantle the paddle to drain the water.. No fun.Tried contacting customer service and no reply whatsoever.

Really nice paddle
The carbon seems of good quality and this paddle is REALLY light. Overall it is a nice product, but like the other Abahub paddle I have, the cam lock isn't completely secure so the handle tends to twist. I will say it does work better on the carbon then the aluminum one. For the price of this paddle though, I would expect this to be something they could get under control.
