Overjoyed with my purchase!
Nothing magnetic that I can find about these earbuds, but that's not why I purchased them. I will tell you what I like about them. They have a very nice weight to them which means to me they aren't cheaply made. The twisted/braided cords within the slightly rubbery to the touch, outer translucent black shell do not tangle! At least they don't tangle for me. When they have become entangled accidentally, they untangle lickety split. So, for those who say they tangle and knot.. umm.. not sure what you're doing with them, other than perhaps using them in place of the "1980's Clackers", attempting to take down small game, or trying to choke someone with them? As to sound cancelling quality, I can attest they nearly drown out my husband's incessant grating and whiny voice. And finally I can hear videos on youtube and netflix due to the degrading quality of sound from my laptop! I'm excited... :D

When I bought these, I was expecting moderately good earbuds.I'm SEVERELY surprised.These are amazing.The audio quality is almost on the level of a headset costing 2x as much, they are very good at blocking out the background noise, and I have yet to actually tangle them once (Not that I haven't tried). The bass is surprising for such a small earbud, and that's a plus and a minus. It is amazing once you get used to it. For the first few songs, my ears itched due to the vibration. That quickly passed. It also cames with very well sized... whatever those rubber things that are on the end of earbuds are. Normally, I use headphones due to the fact that my ears are too small on the inside to use any of those rubber things. They just fall out. With this one, they stay in and do so very well.These are some of the best earbuds I have ever tried & definitly the best as far as price to performance value goes.
