It works perfectly!
Before I ordered I read all the negative reviews, but decided to give to it a shot. I watched the video, and also a couple of YouTube videos about how to.When I received the box, I opened it, and at first impression it looked well made, good material, solid and sturdy.I was concerned because the negative review from the guy with the V8 engine saying it wasn't working with big engines....I have a Mercedes C63 AMG, big 6.3 V8 engine....I started the engine and let the oil reach 195F, shot engine off. I removed oil filter.I aligned the dip stick with the 0.21 diameter extension and made a mark on the tube as sign to were it supposed to dip, I inserted the wire in it, lowered the tube into the dip stick entrance and made sure it was reaching the bottom of the oil pan. and the mark I made was aligning with the top. The wire acted as driver true the bend entering the engine block.I removed the wire and connected the inserted tube to the main .39 diameter tube, them connected it to the tank and started pumping. I gave 4 pumps and the oil started to flow into the tank, gave 3 more pumps every minute. it took 4 minutes to suck out 9 quarts of oil, no leaks, no issues, it was effortless.Money well spent. I don't understand why the negative reviews, I think the issue wasn't the product.....

Well built and does the job as expected
It looks well built and does the job as expected. It is easy to use. I have used it only twice (removed total of about 16 qt of oil). No issues either time.

Worked but was a little slow.
Used on a Land Rover which has a permanent tube to connect to an extractor for oil changes. Because of that, I expected it to be easier. It did what it was supposed to do but the main tube is too short, and I had to splice together a longer line using rubber hose I had in my toolbox. The additional tubes they provide did not fit my existing oil extraction tube. The extraction process took longer than expected - 8.5 quarts in 30-40 minutes. This does not work like a syphon, which runs till empty once started. You must maintain the vacuum on the line by periodically pumping the handle. Not that a big issue but if I were doing it all over again, I would buy a powered extractor.

Working fine for my Promaster van
It takes a little trial and error to get the wand in the right position to drain the whole tank, but generally easy to use. No crawling under the van!

Pretty Decent....
Appears to be a high-quality product. Well-constructed and simple but effective, right now I say it's a good buy.

Well made, no leaks, superior to MityVac
I much prefer this unit to my MityVac. It does not leak at the base like my MityVac because it has no seams. It is smaller but holds more fluid. The tubes are more robust. The couplings are more precise.Hands down this a better unit than the MityVac.

Best Purchase Ever!!!
I just recently bought a boat and needed to change the oil on my Mercury 150 outboard. I have it in a slip on the water at the marina. All the guys that I called wanted $650 to do it, citing $350 to haul it out for environmental purposes and $300 for the oil change. That’s never happening. I found this thing and MAN, IS IT AWESOME!!! Stick the tube down the dipstick and pump it a few times and just let it go. Removed every drop from my motor. And not one drop of oil dripped out. No mess, no environmental catastrophe, just a huge win. Thank you so much!!! Tip: if you’re using it to extract oil from an outboard, as soon as you can see it starts getting air, tilt it forward. Keep doing that little by little whenever you start seeing air bubbles until it’s all the way forward. It will suck everything out. Such a huge money saving win. I love this thing!!!!

General suction
My Mercedes e550. Started working after ten minutes of running. My car has 9 liters of oil and can only pump 6 liters of it after an hour.
