Thomas BatesDakota Aluminum Slide Web Belt in Colorful Patterns

As advertised.
The belt is of good quality, easily adjustable belt buckle and made from a very flexible material. Good width for a variety of pants or shorts styles. Reversible, also.

Nice belt
Nice belt. Don't love the buckle mechanism. Could be softer/smoother

Not a serious belt ,.. very small and lightweight.
Should not be sold to men,.. it’s a child’s belt

Nice patterns
Really like patterns offered here. Also like the 1-1/4-inch width. Up close, aluminum buckle looks and feels like cheap plastic. Overall, workmanship could be better. Corners on buckle end of the belt are sharp and could easily be blunted.

Disappointing even at $16. Will spend more next time, even though this is a great looking pattern.
Disappointing even at $16. Two stars due to low price, if it had been more than $20 I would have given 1 star and returned it. I guess I expected too much. The buckle opening thru which the belt must pass, especially the opening on the exit side of the belt is about 1/16" too small, meaning that the fabric of the belt edges will rub aggressively against the entrance and exit slot each time it is put on and adjusted. This belt is nylon over a whitish [nylon?] core, and this constant rubbing will quickly fray the nylon. The pattern is not just thick solid nylon webbing. Too bad. I got it because of the nice pattern, the sunrise pattern. It will last a bit, not worth returning ............. I'll get some use out of it ... may a year. Part of the issue too is that the buckle is simply stamped out of 1/8" aluminum stock. No edge polishing, and even the buckle's finish looks like the aluminum stock was not treated with great care, showing a few minor nicks and dings. I'll stick with more expensive Bison or similar belts. I may try to sand away some of the aggressive edge of the buckle. See? I just got me a project.
