This zapper is very easy to use and makes quick work of pests that would live to bit you if given the chance. Works on wasps that come in from our ceiling / roof vent, flies and mosquitos. You don't have to stain the walls or break the lamp when swatting the insect. All you have to do is make contact. If you hover the zapper over the insect, they usually just fly into it.

Better quality, much better reinforcement!
In very happy with this purchase. The last model I had was only layer and very flimsy. It broke one day when a friend swatting toward bugs-outdoors, with nothing there to break it on-it just snapped! This one I have no worries with! The handle is much stronger, there are 2 screens with plastic keeping them separated in the middle-very sturdy! Works great too-just caught a HUGE fly in it the first day I received it. I can definitely recommend this product with confidence!

Works but...
Doesn't work all the time and you have to be able to hit them square on. Trying to zap them while their flying is futile. It says they are attracted to it but that's bogus. If you can trap the fly so it can't fly anywhere but into the wires, it will burn them and it will light up and zap them good. So it does work but I think it would be just as easy to use a fly swatter.

Buy the executioner instead
Very cheap. Couldnt even hit a flay despite my hitting the fly with it. Doesn't make sense right? I threw this one away and bought the executioner. Much better product, zaps the flies even if they don't touch the bars. I've been using it to kill tiny fruit flies and it's been working great.

blow them bugs up!
product uses two double A batteries and seems like a generic fly swatter, but it does what it needs to do. ive seen some with a larger head, but the size of this was reasonable. the best part of the product is when you see the small bugs fly into the charged screen and see them literally explode in front of you. sometimes you can't even find their bug body parts to clean up.
