Personality I don't mind the nests, but my wife didn't want birds flying around us under my new deck. They built nests last year, but not this year after installing these with construction adhesive.

These spikes work great. I installed them on the top of a cinder block wall. They were easily attached with an adhesive caulk. The make it very uncomfortable for anything to put weight on... they do the job.

I spent over 50 dollars on these spikes and they didn't work at all. I spent over an hour screwing over 30 feet of these spikes completely covering the top of my fence. The racoons i was trying to keep off the roof of my shed walked right over the top of these spikes, used the roof of my shed for a bathroom and practically laughed in my face. I would have been better off buying the racoons a litter box.

3 segment my a**. Impossible to cut or fold segments. Material is way too hard and brittle. They are ok if you want to use them as-is and use the predrilled holes for mounting. Forget it otherwise.
