METRO EXODUS - Complete Edition (Xbox Series X)

I bought, and played Metro Exodus (several times) including both DLCs back when they were released about three years ago, on PS4. See my review for a full break down.For this updated review on next gen hardware (I’ve since defected to Microsoft’s Xbox Series X from Sony) I have to say 4A Games’ updated complete version in 4K with ray tracing is spectacular and a huge visible improvement from my first play through of this incredible game. The lighting and visual effects make replaying this beloved title almost an entirely new experience. Glad I bought this notable upgrade and hats of the 4A Games for refining and already fantastic title. I’ve heard Metro 4 is in development. Look forward to that. I highly recommend this game for Xbox owners.

A good game with above average story and game mechanics. Elements of survival horror blended with FPS action. Great graphics.

Map system is just rubbish, you spend forever not really knowing where your going ' is a great game but be prepared to wonder around aimlessly for ever !

Bugged, install and update download crashes and hangs every time at 94% complete on the series x.

Unlike the ps5 version the series x version has everything on disc I turned off my internet and installed it without updating it and everything was there the main game and both the dlc were there without a doubt for a second worth a buy

Great conclusion to Artyon's journey so far. A bit different than the prior two games, but held to the lore. More open world, immersive, and expansive. It leads into the outside world of the metro and Moscow.Some complain about the cutscenes being to movie like. To me it wasn't too bad. They fit the overall game and held to the lore. I would recommend saving the DLC content until after completing the main story. It has too many spoilers. that would ruin the main body of the game. That and it ties into the main body of the story's conclusion, much better saving it for the end.This has a high element for scavenging and crafting unlike the prior two games. That and you're more dependent on rationing your supplies such as ammunition medkits and so forth. In some respects it is more difficult than the prior to games, while at the same time it's a little easier. Once you figure out the Dynamics and the mechanics of the game.Overall it's a very enjoyable game. frustrating at times but very pleasurable and fun to play. I can see myself playing this multiple times in the future.If you enjoy games such as fallout and other post-apocalyptic games .I would easily recommend this and think, this would be a pleasurable playthrough. Along with a very good story

When you get attacked YOU DIE. You can Press X till the second coming and you still die. Pressing X does nothing.
