Q: I know this says one size fits all but my boyfriend wears a 7 3/8 which would normally be the large/xl for carharrt hats. Will this fit him?

My husband says it should fit a larger head. He loves this hat but said it keeps your head warm when it is above 40 degrees. He wears a different hat for colder temps. Hope this helps.
